Moody Bible Institute has available a fold out pamphlet titled "The Spirit of Truth vs. The Spirit of Error". This lists six main points in column format comparing Bible passages with the doctrines of the major cults. A good resource to have.
Yes that is the easiest way to discern a false religion, all will deny that Jesus is God in the flesh and d ie d without sin to redeem us from bondage.
Well, the consensus of scholars agrees that the historical jesus didnt claim to be God. Even Jesus of the Nt agrees. The trinity as we have it today Was developed 300 years after Jesus. Jesus is a God like many others in the bible. But not the supreme God. The Father is greater than Jesus, the only all knowing , the God of Jesus. The only Almighty. The most high etc.
Did John mean “God” or “a god”? The criticism about this phrase usually gives the impression that the translation “a god” in John 1:1c is something exclusive of JWs, almost a fancy of ours, while in fact, there are other translations that understand this part of the verse in a similar way; for example: "and the Word was a god."--THE NEW TESTAMENT IN AN IMPROVED VERSION (1808) (As shown in the picture above.) "The Word was a God."--THE NEW TESTAMENT IN GREEK AND ENGLISH by Abner Kneeland (1822) "as a god the Command was."--A LITERAL TRANSLATION OF THE NEW TESTAMENT by Herman Heinfetter (1863) "And (a) God was the word"--THE COPTIC VERSION OF THE NEW TESTAMENT by George William Homer (1911) "the Word was a God"-- THE NEW TESTAMENT OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS ANOINTED by James L. Tomanec (1958) "and a god was the Logos"--DAS EVANGELIUM NACH JOHANNES By Jurgen Becker (1979) So, a curious thing about this oft presented criticism is that it completely ignores the fact that competent Greek translators had translated John 1:1 the way the Witness translators did long before Jehovah’s Witnesses of modern times even came into existence. But let’s focus on the Greek text and its translation: In Koine Greek there isn’t an indefinite article, it doesn’t exist. So, whereas “God” (in nominative) is written “HO THEOS” (with definite article), “a god” is written “THEOS” (with no article). John 1:1c says: “THEOS EN HO LOGOS”. So, the way to translate this, using the same word order, should be: “A god was the Word”. Since the subject is the second element, in natural English it should be “The Word was a god.”
Translations are difficult especially those are different languages and some words cannot be translated because sometimes, words don't have an equivalent word on other languages, stop focusing on the technical translations, focus on the divine story and the practicality of God's Word, it isn't supposed to be a dictionary of words from greek to english, it is a guide for our spirits, not to guide us for linguistic words. and if he is only "a god" then why did he do God's work, just like the other prophets, the other prophets weren't called "a god" when they do miracles. and also if Jesus isn't THE GOD, then why can he do supernatural things that are beyond human comprehension. there are so many verses and stories and the Bible that confirms Jesus is God, yet you focus on that one translation on John 1:1, like is that it? what about the other verses on John chapter 1, all of those verses affirm that Jesus is the God, all things were created through Him, according to verse 3. now explain why would "a god" be needed for the creation of all things. there's a lot of things that confirm that Jesus is God, just like how Thomas worshipped Him, but he wasn't rebuked, but when John worshipped an angel, he was rebuked immediately. and GOD is against gods, so why would He appoint "a god" to be a sacrifice for our sins and become the eternal king forever. also the prophecies from old testament point that the Messiah is God. "Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" it is from Isaiah 9:6-7. come on mate. Jesus is The God. Also if "a god" is the word, then how would it become God's Word if that Word is just "a god" and not the God Himself. And if you still want to deny that Jesus is God, then respond to all the points mentioned here in this video.
I attended a church once that taught He would give people a 2nd chance at the judgement from Revelation if they wanted to go to hell versus joining Him in heaven. I left the church after the pastor insisted that none of this is really serious so long as we stick to saying that Jesus is the only way to heaven, amongst other things he insisted on preaching that weren't biblical.
Thanks, I keep hearing some people saying Jesus and the devil were brothers. And yes that's a good point of who Jesus is otherwise that would be true if he wasn't God. Take care
I'm Christian. I do NOT believe in the trinity. Excellent reasons include: - The bible NEVER EVER refers to God as Triune/Trinity. - The bible describes God over 20,000 times: as having singular pronouns, singular verbs, singular adjectives, and singular pronominal suffixes. "People that claim the bible describes a trinity, always describe an interpretation of scriptures, and NOT the actual text of the scriptures." - A quote to remember - Jesus explicitly said he has a God and Father. BEFORE he died; and AFTER he was raised from among the dead and BEFORE he was arisen; and AFTER he was arisen! [Mark 15:34; John 20:17; Revelations 3:12] - Jesus died. God raised Jesus from among the dead. God CANNOT die! The bible asserts this multiple times! - Jesus was anointed by God. God CANNOT anoint himself. It is in the name "Christ/Messiah", and witnesses and references are everywhere! - Jesus sits at God's right hand, according to Psalms 110:1. God CANNOT sit next to himself. This is the MOST quoted Old Testament verse in the New Testament. +++ Top 10 favourite scripture references: 1) Jesus prayed to his Father: "And this is life in the age to come, that they know uou, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent." - John 17:3 => Jesus identifies the ONLY true God, the Father! 2) Jesus instructed us: “. . . go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am going up to my Father and your Father, and my God and your God.’" - John 20:17 => Jesus has a God and Father. => We have this same God and Father. => Jesus is the Son of God. => Jesus is NOT God. 3) Moses unambiguously explicitly told the Israelites: Know therefore today, and lay it up in your heart, that Yahweh, he is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other. - Deuteronomy 4:36 Hear, O Israel! Yahweh is our God, Yahweh alone! . . . - Deuteronomy 6:4-9 => Yahweh is one! (and 100% not triune or multiple of anything) 4) Isaiah, like a broken record, repeated: For this is what Yahweh says, who created the heavens, the God who formed the earth and made it, who established it and did not create it a waste, who formed it to be inhabited: “I am Yahweh, and there is no other." - Isaiah 45:18 I am Yahweh, and there is none else. Besides me, there is no God . . . know from the rising of the sun and from the west that there is none besides me. I am Yahweh, and there is no one else. - Isaiah 45:5-6 This is what Yahweh, your Redeemer and he who formed you from the womb, says: “I am Yahweh who makes all things; who alone stretches out the heavens; who spreads out the earth by myself;" - Isaiah 44:24 “You are my witnesses,” says Yahweh, “and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am he. Before me there was no God formed, nor will there be after me. I, even I, am Yahweh, and besides me there is no savior. I have declared, I have saved, and I have shown, and there was no strange god among you. Therefore you are my witnesses,” says Yahweh, “and I am God." - Isaiah 43:10-12 I am Yahweh. That is my name. I will not give my glory to another, nor my praise to carved images. - Isaiah 42.8 => The creator of heaven and earth is solely Yahweh. 5) Peter preached the very first Christian evangelical sermon: You men of Israel, listen to these words! Jesus of Nazareth, a man pointed out to you by God by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did through him in the midst of you, just as you yourselves know, this man, delivered up by the decreed plan and foreknowledge of God, you, by lawless hands, crucified and killed. But God raised him up, having freed him from the agony of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it. - Acts 2:22-24 Therefore, let all the house of Israel know for certain that God has made him-this Jesus whom you crucified-both Lord and Christ. - Acts 2:34-36 => God raised Jesus from among the dead. 6) Paul summarised things beautifully: . . . we know that “no idol in the world really exists,” and that “there is no God but one.” For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”), yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we are for him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we are through him. But not everyone has this knowledge . . . - 1 Corinthians 8:4-7 => The only God, the Father, from whom are all things, is NOT Jesus 7) James reminds us that God is sovereign: No one should say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself does not tempt anyone. - James 1:13 => God CANNOT be tempted. Jesus was tempted (Hebrews 2:17-18) 8) John the Baptist, who prepared the way for Jesus on earth witnessed: “Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! . . . And I myself have seen it, and have testified, that this is the Son of God.” - John 1:29-34 => God is NOT "the Lamb of God" 9) John reminds us what is love: For God so loved the world that he gave his uniquely begotten Son, so that whoever believes in him will not perish, but have life in the age to come. - John 3:16 => God did not give himself; he gave his uniquely appointed and begotten Son. 10) King David's prophecy testified by Stephen (and Peter): Yahweh’s [Adonai] declaration to my lord [Adoni] , “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.” - Psalms 110:1 => Adonai refers to Yahweh God => Adoni refers to a Lord that's NOT Yahweh God => Adonai and Adoni are NOT the same person => Adoni is subject to Adonai (Hebrews 7:7, 1 Corinthians 15:27-28) But he, being full of holy spirit, looked up steadfastly into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.” - Acts 7:55-56 (Also see Peter's comments in Acts 2:29-35) => Lord God is NOT Lord Jesus. => King David's Lord (i.e. Jesus), is at the right hand of King David's God (i.e. Yahweh). +++ On Christians speaking to Muslims: I think it is unfortunate that Christians waste time arguing with Muslims on "trinity" when there are so many other things to showcase - especially given that Muslims are correct, albeit partially, that Jesus is NOT God. +++ Warning: IMHO, favourite verses of scripture of "trinity believers" often are translations that are corrupt. Corruptions includes using uppercase where it isn't needed, using the incorrect personal pronouns (or pronominal suffixes), inserting extra words that change meaning, removing phrases, as well as good old fashioned errors. => You can verify this yourself by looking at the original Greek in an Interlinear bible (or comparing to other English translations). => You can verify someone is NOT speaking out of their bum hole: they focus on the actual texts of scripture, and NOT the interpretations of the texts of scripture. +++ PS: - Before you let the words of Pharisees (e.g. John 10:33) or Thomas (John 20:28) distract you from what Jesus himself said, please look at Moses (Exodus 7:1), King David/Solomon (Psalms 45:6, 1 Chronicles 28:5; 29:20-27), Judges (Book of Judges, Psalms 82:6) were all called "God" too and indeed represented God with power. - Before misquoting Isaiah 9:6, please note that "Mighty" is not "All Mighty" (Exodus 6:2-3), and King David and Warriors being called Mighty God (Psalms 89:19, Psalms 33:16) which is NOT All Mighty God; Christ being given children (and brothers) by God is Isaiah 8:18 (and Hebrews 2:11-13). - Before misquoting John 8:58, please look at how "I am" was used in John 9:9 and John 4:26 and everywhere else, especially places without a predicate. - Before misquoting John 10:30, please look at John 17:11, 20-23. - Before misquoting John 1:1, 14, please look at the use of "logos" everywhere; including the gender neuter places like John 1:3, what John the Baptist testified (John 1:6-8, 19-36; and what Peter preached in Acts 10:36-38. - Before misquoting Titus 2:13, please look at Ephesians 1:17, Luke 9:26, and John 8:54. - Before misquoting Philippians 2:6, please look at Philippians 2:11, 1 Corinthians 15:24-28, and everywhere Paul said something like "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ..." (like Ephesians 1:3, 1 Corinthians 1:3, and many other places.) - Before misquoting Colossians 1:15-20, please look at the beginning of the chapter, in Colossians 1:3, that Jesus has a God; and Ephesians 1:20-23, that says the same in so many words; and that God isn't an "image"; and Jesus isn't "invisible". +++ In conclusion: All trinity doctrine is an explanation of one's ignorance of what's written in the bible! That's NOT a burn. It's a call to be a Berean.
Just like Trinity, the word empathy didn't exist back then but is in the Bible via multiple words (with context). In reverse, it's similar to how the word hevel is in the Bible, but takes a lot words (with context) to use today. The totality of Scripture reveals God's nature, including the Trinity with these particular points: - There is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 45:5). - The Father is God (1 Corinthians 8:6; Philippians 1:2). - The Son is God (John 1:1-3, 14; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 1:8). - The Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3-4; 2 Corinthians 3:17). - The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct, yet they act in unity (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 14:16-17). The relationship between Jesus and the Father, as seen in passages like John 17:3 and John 20:17, does not contradict the Trinity but rather reveals the mystery of how God exists as three distinct Persons in perfect unity. - Jesus as the Son of God: Jesus' acknowledgment of the Father as His God demonstrates His role in the Incarnation. Philippians 2:5-11 teaches that Jesus, though divine, "emptied Himself" and took on human nature. In His humanity, He prayed to and submitted to the Father. - The Father’s Authority: Jesus sitting at the Father’s right hand (Psalm 110:1, Acts 7:55-56) demonstrates His exaltation and distinct role within the Godhead, not a denial of His divinity. Yes, God cannot die. This is central to Christian teaching: Jesus, in His divine nature, did not cease to exist when He died. His human nature experienced death, and His divine nature remained united with both His human soul and body (John 10:18; 1 Peter 3:18). It’s important to interpret Scripture holistically, allowing clearer passages to help in understanding more difficult ones. For example: - John 1:1 describes the Word (Jesus) as both with God and being God. - John 20:28 records Thomas calling Jesus "My Lord and my God" without Jesus correcting him. - Philippians 2:6-11 describes Jesus existing "in the form of God" but humbling Himself to become human, affirming both His divinity and humanity. While some terms like Logos and Mighty God (Isaiah 9:6) might have other uses in Scripture, the contexts of their application to Jesus often show a unique role that aligns with divine attributes. Isaiah 9:6, for example, points to a child born who is also called "Everlasting Father" and "Prince of Peace," which are messianic and divine titles. The doctrine of the Trinity reflects how early Christians sought to faithfully be one with Scripture, not to explain it away but to affirm the mystery of God’s nature as revealed. The writings of early church fathers, such as Tertullian and Athanasius, aimed to preserve biblical truth against misunderstandings. You’ve emphasized the importance of being like the Bereans (Acts 17:11), who examined the Scriptures daily to see if what they were taught was true. Completely agree with this approach. It’s vital to engage with the text honestly and prayerfully, and when truly doing that, this unique and amazing attribute of God will eventually unveil itself. Lovingly encourage continued prayerful study, especially of passages like John 1:1-14, Colossians 1:15-20, and Philippians 2:5-11, which offer a profound picture of who Jesus is. While humans may not fully grasp the mystery of God’s nature, humans can trust that God reveals Himself perfectly in Jesus Christ (John 14:9) and through the Holy Spirit (John 14:26).
@mlwilliams4407 if I used your logic, I wouldn't stop at three. Moses is God too. Exodus 4:16, 7:1 Israelite Kings are God too. Psalms 45:6, Isaiah 9:6, 1 Chronicles 29:20+ Judges are God too. Exodus 22:8-9; Book of Judges Angels and heavenly beings are God too. Psalms 82 You know, I'll stop at 7. Let's call it Septernity! 😂 OR I'll remember this quote: "People that claim the bible describes a trinity, always describe an interpretation of scriptures, and NOT the actual text of the scriptures." - A quote to remember
@@SimplyAwesomeOriginal The Bible does at times use the term "god" (Hebrew: elohim) in reference to individuals like Moses, judges, or kings. However, these are representative roles of authority and not declarations of divinity. For example: - Exodus 4:16, 7:1: God says Moses will act as "God" to Pharaoh, meaning Moses will represent God’s authority and power, not that he is divine. - Psalms 82: Refers to judges as "gods" (elohim), emphasizing their role in dispensing God’s justice. Verse 7 makes it clear they are mortal: "But you will die like mere mortals." - Psalms 45:6 and Isaiah 9:6: These passages, when interpreted in context, are messianic prophecies fulfilled in Christ, pointing to His divine kingship rather than attributing divinity to all kings of Israel. The funny suggestion of "Septernity" does bring up an important distinction: the Bible consistently teaches monotheism-the belief in one God (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 45:5). When other beings are called "gods," it is either metaphorical (e.g., judges acting with God’s authority) or polemical (mocking false gods). In contrast, the doctrine of the Trinity is rooted in the recognition of three Persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) who share one divine essence, not a hierarchy of separate deities. The Trinity is not about multiplying divine figures but understanding how the one true God reveals Himself in relational unity. The “People that claim the Bible describes a trinity, always describe an interpretation of scriptures, and NOT the actual text of the scriptures” quote is insightful. It’s true that the word "Trinity" is not in the Bible, just as "empathy" or "Bible" itself is not. However, the existence of the Trinity emerges from the totality of Scripture when key truths are considered together: - There is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4). - The Father is God (Philippians 1:2), the Son is God (John 1:1-3, 14), and the Spirit is God (Acts 5:3-4). - These Persons are distinct yet unified (Matthew 28:19; John 14:16-17). This is not an addition to Scripture but a faithful synthesis of its teaching. Similarly, concepts like "atonement" and "incarnation" are derived from understanding Scripture holistically. The examples you mention (e.g., Moses, kings, judges) illustrate roles and representations of God’s authority, not shared divinity. When studying Scripture, it’s essential to distinguish between metaphorical language and descriptions of God’s unique nature. Jesus stands apart in the following ways: - John 1:1-3, 14: Jesus is the eternal Word, not a created being or mere representative. - John 10:30-33: Jesus explicitly claims equality with God, which His audience understood as blasphemy unless it were true. - Philippians 2:5-11: Jesus is described as existing "in the form of God" but humbling Himself to become human. - Colossians 1:15-20: Jesus is the "image of the invisible God," through whom all things were created. The mystery of the Trinity is admittedly profound, and Christians shouldn't claim to fully comprehend it. However, true Christians will eventually become aware that the Bible reveals it as the nature of God. Lovingly encourage continued study of passages like John 1, John 17, and Colossians 1 to see how the Father, Son, and Spirit work in perfect unity and reflect the one true God. Thanks for this conversation!
A Deeper Study will show us that Christ who was NOT a Created Being, is Michael - Strongs Concordance tell us that Michael is One who is like God/Yahveh. Daniel 12:1 - 3. Then in Genesis there is the Story of the 3 men who went to see Abraham - 2 were Ordinary angels and the Third One was Christ. The Story of Jacob wrestling with the Man and saying "l will not let Thee go, unless You Bless me" and the Story of Joshua etc. The problem is we Don't Really Study our Bibles Deeply - getting on our Knees First ♡
bubble buster : Who actually wrote the book of Hebrews? Authorship of the Epistle to the Hebrews - Wikipedia The Epistle to the Hebrews of the Christian Bible is one of the New Testament books whose canonicity was disputed. Traditionally, Paul the Apostle was thought to be the author. However, since the third century this has been questioned, and the consensus among most modern scholars is that the author is unknown.
God said let us create man in our own image nothing was created without the word the word became flesh we are first born of water and then of spirit. Our spirit is the intellect of your soul. The gospel and the holy spirit is creating men in God's image Jesus is the image of God revelations 12-17 the one's who have kept God's commandments and have the testimony of Jesus christ in their lives they are the ones who have been created in God's image. The elect
In the beginning was the word, so the word (Jesus God's Son) had a beginnig. Where in the Bible does it say that God the Father had a beginning? Notice there is no mention of your third member of your God dishonouring trinity. At John 1:1 And the word was with "THE GOD" definite article, and the word was a god no definite article.
"I and the Father are one" meaning unity. as Jesus explains at John 17:21 so that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in union with me and I am in union with you, that they also may be in union with us, so that the world may believe that you sent me. In prayer, Jesus asked His Father to watch over his disciples. The reason? He prayed: “So that they may be one just as we are one.” (John 17:11) According to you that would mean that Jesus' disciples were equally God. Which of course is non-sense,. The verb ei·miʹ, at John 8:58, is evidently in the historical present, as Jesus was speaking about himself in relation to Abraham’s past. Numerous translators indicate this in their renderings. For example, An American Translation reads: “I existed before Abraham was born!”
@@nathanbarth6393 The Jews tried to kill Jesus for blasphemy which was untrue. For Jesus never claimed that he was God but that he is God's Son. vs36 If you read on John 10 you will clearly see that Jesus was referring to the unity he has wth his heavely Father. vs 38
Here's a quick 5 minute video on why Jehovah's Witnesses don't believe Jesus is God. This is good to know.. th-cam.com/video/GzqzkJYWeBM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=cfzNOoyffIRdjuXc
I know that woman (Maria Angelina Alexander) If you were born and raised in new York you'd know too, she's my family's Broker for 3yrs till now and a very good one if you asked me. No doubt she is the one that helped you get where you are!!!!
And for the few out of context quotes of scripture you gave I could give you 10 that Jesus himself spoke that proved that he is not God and he is not he is the messiah
Here are some of the false "Jesus.es" that people follow these days. Mormonism- "Jesus" was LITERALLY begotten by God. ( They also teach that one MUST have Joseph Smith's approval to enter into God's Kingdom.) JWs- "Jesus" is a mere human. the Unity church- "Jesus", God, and electricity are the SAME thing. Roman Catholics- "Jesus" becomes bread during the service. Muslims- "Jesus" was just a prophet. Oneness Pentecostals- "Jesus" and God the Father are the SAME Person. Protestants- "Jesus" used Scripture ALONE!!!!!!! TBN type of Pentecostals- "Jesus" was RICH and wants you to give US money!!!! Non-denominational-ism: "Jesus" founded OUR church and approves of what we do. Traditional Judaism and ( most of) Christianity: "Jesus" started a NEW religion and taught people to break God's Commandments. Liberal Methodists have a Hippie-style "Jesus" who is liberal and a universalist. KJV Onlyists- "Jesus" used the KJV of the Bible and one MUST use that Bible to be right with God!!!!!!!!!!!
Jesus is definitely not God. Jesus died, God is Eternal and can never die. Eternity and Death do not go together. Besides this obvious fact, Jesus himself says the Father alone is the 1 true God in the book of John. So to promote anything other then this contradicts the words of Jesus Christ himself.
Jesus is God. God the son became man putting on humanity and in turn putting on the limitations attached with being human however He is still God Divine as well, he died and was resurrected and so He is eternal, I mean He is currently in the Most Holy place doing the High priest role receiving our prayers. That seems eternal by reasoning.
Jesus is God. And in judgement day u will only see Him as he will judge, not any of your false god or god's u believe in like allah🕋 Baal ECT ONLY JESUS IS THE ALL MIGHTY GOD YHWH✝️🙏💯
Yeshua (Jesus), is God, He had said that, 'I and the Father are one", and in John 1:1, says that, "In the beggining was the Word (Jesus), and the Word (Jesus) was with God and the Word (Jesus) is God"...

Did John mean “God” or “a god”?
The criticism about this phrase usually gives the impression that the translation “a god” in John 1:1c is something exclusive of JWs, almost a fancy of ours, while in fact, there are other translations that understand this part of the verse in a similar way; for example:
"and the Word was a god."--THE NEW TESTAMENT IN AN IMPROVED VERSION (1808) (As shown in the picture above.)
"The Word was a God."--THE NEW TESTAMENT IN GREEK AND ENGLISH by Abner Kneeland (1822)
"as a god the Command was."--A LITERAL TRANSLATION OF THE NEW TESTAMENT by Herman Heinfetter (1863)
"And (a) God was the word"--THE COPTIC VERSION OF THE NEW TESTAMENT by George William Homer (1911)
"the Word was a God"-- THE NEW TESTAMENT OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS ANOINTED by James L. Tomanec (1958)
"and a god was the Logos"--DAS EVANGELIUM NACH JOHANNES By Jurgen Becker (1979)
So, a curious thing about this oft presented criticism is that it completely ignores the fact that competent Greek translators had translated John 1:1 the way the Witness translators did long before Jehovah’s Witnesses of modern times even came into existence.
But let’s focus on the Greek text and its translation:
In Koine Greek there isn’t an indefinite article, it doesn’t exist.
They belief in a god wich is satan the god of this world created by Jesus
I attended a church once that taught He would give people a 2nd chance at the judgement from Revelation if they wanted to go to hell versus joining Him in heaven. I left the church after the pastor insisted that none of this is really serious so long as we stick to saying that Jesus is the only way to heaven, amongst other things he insisted on preaching that weren't biblical.
Well done and the explanation of the Bible Study coming
May you please make a video about the Lost Descendents of Israel and Deuteronomy 28?

Who are the supposed people who say Jesus sacrifice was not necessary ?
Excellent 💯👏
Thanks, I keep hearing some people saying Jesus and the devil were brothers. And yes that's a good point of who Jesus is otherwise that would be true if he wasn't God. Take care
Excellent!
I was hoping for something other than “affirmation” of “biblical truth”!
Disappointed…again!
Using the bible to support biblical assertions!
Also, modalism - that Jesus, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit are the same person in different modes.
Amen. Jesus Christ Yeshua is God.
I'm Christian. I do NOT believe in the trinity.
Excellent reasons include:
- The bible NEVER EVER refers to God as Triune/Trinity.
- The bible describes God over 20,000 times: as having singular pronouns, singular verbs, singular adjectives, and singular pronominal suffixes.
"People that claim the bible describes a trinity, always describe an interpretation of scriptures, and NOT the actual text of the scriptures."
- A quote to remember
- Jesus explicitly said he has a God and Father. BEFORE he died; and AFTER he was raised from among the dead and BEFORE he was arisen; and AFTER he was arisen! [Mark 15:34; John 20:17; Revelations 3:12]
- Jesus died.

Top 10 favourite scripture references:
1) Jesus prayed to his Father:
"And this is life in the age to come, that they know uou, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent."
- John 17:3
=> Jesus identifies the ONLY true God, the Father!
2) Jesus instructed us:
“. . . go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am going up to my Father and your Father, and my God and your God.’"
- John 20:17
=> Jesus has a God and Father.
=> We have this same God and Father.
=> Jesus is the Son of God.
=> Jesus is NOT God.
3) Moses unambiguously explicitly told the Israelites:
Know therefore today, and lay it up in your heart, that Yahweh, he is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other.
- Deuteronomy 4:36
Hear, O Israel! Yahweh is our God, Yahweh alone! . . .
- Deuteronomy 6:4-9
=> Yahweh is one! (and 100% not triune or multiple of anything)
4) Isaiah, like a broken record, repeated:
For this is what Yahweh says, who created the heavens, the God who formed the earth and made it, who established it and did not create it a waste, who formed it to be inhabited: “I am Yahweh, and there is no other."
- Isaiah 45:18
I am Yahweh, and there is none else. Besides me, there is no God . . . know from the rising of the sun and from the west that there is none besides me. I am Yahweh, and there is no one else.
- Isaiah 45:5-6
This is what Yahweh, your Redeemer and he who formed you from the womb, says: “I am Yahweh who makes all things; who alone stretches out the heavens; who spreads out the earth by myself;"
- Isaiah 44:24
“You are my witnesses,” says Yahweh, “and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am he. Before me there was no God formed, nor will there be after me. I, even I, am Yahweh, and besides me there is no savior. I have declared, I have saved, and I have shown, and there was no strange god among you. Therefore you are my witnesses,” says Yahweh, “and I am God."
- Isaiah 43:10-12
I am Yahweh. That is my name. I will not give my glory to another, nor my praise to carved images.
- Isaiah 42.8
=> The creator of heaven and earth is solely Yahweh.
5) Peter preached the very first Christian evangelical sermon:
You men of Israel, listen to these words!
- Acts 2:22-24
Therefore, let all the house of Israel know for certain that God has made him-this Jesus whom you crucified-both Lord and Christ.
- Acts 2:34-36
=> God raised Jesus from among the dead.
6) Paul summarised things beautifully:
. . . we know that “no idol in the world really exists,” and that “there is no God but one.”
For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”), yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we are for him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we are through him.
But not everyone has this knowledge . . .
- 1 Corinthians 8:4-7
=> The only God, the Father, from whom are all things, is NOT Jesus
7) James reminds us that God is sovereign:
No one should say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself does not tempt anyone.
- James 1:13
=> God CANNOT be tempted. Jesus was tempted (Hebrews 2:17-18)
8) John the Baptist, who prepared the way for Jesus on earth witnessed:
“Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! . . .
And I myself have seen it, and have testified, that this is the Son of God.”
- John 1:29-34
=> God is NOT "the Lamb of God"
9) John reminds us what is love:
For God so loved the world that he gave his uniquely begotten Son, so that whoever believes in him will not perish, but have life in the age to come.
- John 3:16
=> God did not give himself; he gave his uniquely appointed and begotten Son.
10) King David's prophecy testified by Stephen (and Peter):
Yahweh’s [Adonai] declaration to my lord [Adoni] , “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”
- Psalms 110:1
=> Adonai refers to Yahweh God
=> Adoni refers to a Lord that's NOT Yahweh God
=> Adonai and Adoni are NOT the same person
=> Adoni is subject to Adonai (Hebrews 7:7, 1 Corinthians 15:27-28)
But he, being full of holy spirit, looked up steadfastly into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”
- Acts 7:55-56 (Also see Peter's comments in Acts 2:29-35)
=> Lord God is NOT Lord Jesus.
=> King David's Lord (i.e. Jesus), is at the right hand of King David's God (i.e. Yahweh).

On Christians speaking to Muslims:
I think it is unfortunate that Christians waste time arguing with Muslims on "trinity" when there are so many other things to showcase - especially given that Muslims are correct, albeit partially, that Jesus is NOT God.
+++
Warning:
IMHO, favourite verses of scripture of "trinity believers" often are translations that are corrupt.

PS:
- Before you let the words of Pharisees (e.g.
- Before misquoting Philippians 2:6, please look at Philippians 2:11, 1 Corinthians 15:24-28, and everywhere Paul said something like "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ..." (like Ephesians 1:3, 1 Corinthians 1:3, and many other places.)
- Before misquoting Colossians 1:15-20, please look at the beginning of the chapter, in Colossians 1:3, that Jesus has a God; and Ephesians 1:20-23, that says the same in so many words; and that God isn't an "image"; and Jesus isn't "invisible".

In conclusion:
All trinity doctrine is an explanation of one's ignorance of what's written in the bible!
That's NOT a burn.
It's a call to be a Berean.
Just like Trinity, the word empathy didn't exist back then but is in the Bible via multiple words (with context). In reverse, it's similar to how the word hevel is in the Bible, but takes a lot words (with context) to use today.
The totality of Scripture reveals God's nature, including the Trinity with these particular points:
- There is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 45:5).
For example:
- John 1:1 describes the Word (Jesus) as both with God and being God.
Exodus 4:16, 7:1
Israelite Kings are God too. Psalms 45:6, Isaiah 9:6, 1 Chronicles 29:20+
Judges are God too. Exodus 22:8-9; Book of Judges
Angels and heavenly beings are God too. Psalms 82
You know, I'll stop at 7. Let's call it Septernity! 😂
OR I'll remember this quote:
"People that claim the bible describes a trinity, always describe an interpretation of scriptures, and NOT the actual text of the scriptures."
- A quote to remember
@@SimplyAwesomeOriginal The Bible does at times use the term "god" (Hebrew: elohim) in reference to individuals like Moses, judges, or kings. However, these are representative roles of authority and not declarations of divinity. For example:
- Exodus 4:16, 7:1: God says Moses will act as "God" to Pharaoh, meaning Moses will represent God’s authority and power, not that he is divine.
- Psalms 82: Refers to judges as "gods" (elohim), emphasizing their role in dispensing God’s justice. Verse 7 makes it clear they are mortal: "But you will die like mere mortals."
- Psalms 45:6 and Isaiah 9:6: These passages, when interpreted in context, are messianic prophecies fulfilled in Christ, pointing to His divine kingship rather than attributing divinity to all kings of Israel.
However, the existence of the Trinity emerges from the totality of Scripture when key truths are considered together:
- There is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4).
Jesus stands apart in the following ways:
- John 1:1-3, 14: Jesus is the eternal Word, not a created being or mere representative.
Authorship of the Epistle to the Hebrews - Wikipedia
The Epistle to the Hebrews of the Christian Bible is one of the New Testament books whose canonicity was disputed.
By way eternal torment is false teaching, wages of sin is only death.
In the beginning was the word, so the word (Jesus God's Son) had a beginnig.
Where in the Bible does it say that God the Father had a beginning?
Notice there is no mention of your third member of your God dishonouring trinity. At John 1:1
And the word was with "THE GOD" definite article, and the word was a god no definite article.
"I and the Father are one" meaning unity. as Jesus explains at John 17:21 so that they may all be one, just as you, Father,
are in union with me and I am in union with you, that they also may be in union with us, so that the world may believe that you sent me.
In prayer, Jesus asked His Father to watch over his disciples. The reason? He prayed: “So that they may be one just as we are one.” (John 17:11)
According to you that would mean that Jesus' disciples were equally God.
He said he was God
In John 10:30 Jesus said that he is one with the Father and the jews tried to kill him because he claimed to be God
If he existed before Abraham then he would have to be God
@@nathanbarth6393 The Jews tried to kill Jesus for blasphemy which was untrue. For Jesus never claimed that he was God but that he is God's Son. vs36
If you read on John 10 you will clearly see that Jesus was referring to the unity he has wth his heavely Father. vs 38
Also, you need to clearify your vocabulary.
DIETY means being God or a ,god. DIVINUTY means having attributes associated with GOD.
Please, learn to spell the word "deity" correctly. Otherwise, well said.

Here are some of the false "Jesus.es" that people follow these days.
Mormonism- "Jesus" was LITERALLY begotten by God. ( They also teach that one MUST have Joseph Smith's approval to enter into God's Kingdom.)
JWs- "Jesus" is a mere human.
the Unity church- "Jesus", God, and electricity are the SAME thing.
Yaya. because the bible told you so,
Jesus is definitely not God.
And in judgement day u will only see Him as he will judge, not any of your false god or god's u believe in like allah🕋 Baal ECT
ONLY JESUS IS THE ALL MIGHTY GOD YHWH✝️🙏💯
Yeshua (Jesus), is God, He had said that, 'I and the Father are one", and in John 1:1, says that, "In the beggining was the Word (Jesus), and the Word (Jesus) was with God and the Word (Jesus) is God"...
