    You are such an inspiration. One could just see when there was an opportunity to quit, but you chose to look at it positively no matter what. For people like me who struggle with mental health and staying positive, it was so nice to see that even the elite face the mental conundrums we all face, but it's the way you look at it and choose to make it positive. Your videos are amazing. You really are amazing. Thank you for this...

    Always amazes me how many pros don’t know/*appear to know about how to get out of crash mode on shimano rd’s/di2. Just speculating that’s what happened and didn’t see the fix being attempted.. I’d have at least tried it. Could have saved the race from a results standpoint. Perhaps it was more doinked than just crash mode

    • @heatherjacksonracing
      @heatherjacksonracing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Was not crash mode, I know how to get it out of crash mode and tried many, many times that day before realizing that it was something else. Ended up being a fried motor on the rear derailleur 🤷🏻‍♂🤷🏻‍♂🤷🏻‍♂

    Ya this is just good stuff……. But kind of sucks for Unbound to go ahead with that mud section when an alternative was available and good to go. Not only the pro’s are training for months for this event, only to be greatly decided by mud??? But all the amateurs who spend hard earned dollars, take time away from family to train, take time off work likely, travel and prep to do maybe their only one big event of the year, or their life, and 10 miles in they have to walk and many busted up their bikes….. that is just dumb. I am not buying that “that is Unbound so you get what you get” when the organizers had every opportunity to create a better race atmosphere by utilizing a pre-made work around for that area.
