@@carolinamendezgonzales-vv9cc yea 2nd album is the start of the downhill but even that had a few good songs, but once their new singer joined every song they've made is extremely weak and pussy and his voice is even weaker like he couldn't scream if he tried, atleast tommy had a good screaming voice and didn't sound bad singing cleanly either

So I'm gonna try to help you peeps out, as a Christian.
First off, this is an American based band, where Christianity is the largest religion of influence, so it's what they see most, and many injustices have been done by people in the name of Jesus. (Slavery, crusades, cults, etc)
Second off, Christianity is often extremely corrupted because a large majority of followers don't know what they're following, and they end up trying to spread the word of Jesus with hate, in exact opposition to what he wanted.
If you can't realize that Christianity has tons of flaws and problems, then you should re evaluate your beliefs. I mean the biggest cult is pretty much the Catholic Church lol.
Third off, There are millions of Jesus followers, but not enough people that practice what they teach. And that's what causes people to become so anti-christian.
Fourth, this is METAL, did you expect worship music lol? Metal strips down the walls to reveal dirty truths.
To be fair they pretty much take a shot at everything on this album - Ballsy stuff!

At first, I was surprised that I saw so many pissed off christians in the comments, and why I saw none in Ghost comment Sections or Behemoth comment sections. But then I realized: The same people that listen to Bad Wolves also listen to Five Finger Death Punch (even though Bad Wolves is significantly better) God worshipping, pro-army and pro-police conservatives who really mostly listen to these bands because they agree with the message they put out.

Some of you are really missing the meaning in this song. Like when he talks about the witches burn he is referring to Salem and what I interpret from this song is that he is pointing out the irony of the saying "Jesus saves" because it's the same people that claim to come in his name that is persecuting those that believe differently, or don't live up to their religions standards of what is right or wrong. He is saying that Those of us who choose a different path are basically slaves to this religion because it is this religion that is trying to force everyone into obedience to this religious rule. I also think that's where the title of the album comes from. He is speaking out about how so many of those same people trying to spread "God's word" and telling people that Jesus can save them, are some of the same ones fighting against homosexuality, transgenders, and people who don't want bow to this religion, wanting to deny those people the same rights as they have all because we refuse to buckle under a religious rule, because we are different. Some go as far as beating and tormenting others because their lifestyle doesn't fit into their idea of acceptable. That's what this song is about, because even Jesus can't save us from the ones coming in his name.
