Once a friend from college recognized i listened to the same music she did, she introduced me to this band. Music is a big part of how i work through my life inspirationally. And the title of this band speaks layers of how everyone should feel about getting through life. You will prevail.

At 33 I am experiencing anxiety for the first time... knowing full well all my life up till now this was going to happen (yay genetics)! I Prevail’s music has helped me cope with it! I play Trauma and sing the BS out of me, it works most days. When I doesn’t I repeat take my meds and go to sleep.
I am the same age. I carry a bottle of anxiety meds everywhere I go.
Some of the most amazing musicians in this band.... I am truly a appreciative of their new music in this world of chaos.... GREAT JOB...

I always felt like Brian's chorus of the song was written from the perspective of someone that is homesick and dearly misses home while Eric and his parts of the song were written from the perspective of someone that had their family turn against him and now he never wants to go back. It's honestly the perfect merge of contrast from two completely different stories.
