Wonder if a relay is sticking on the ranger? May be why it kills power to everything but starter then if it gets stuck pulling the battery cable causes it to unstick. Sorry for having to read this comment lol hope it makes sense
I did try to swap around a bunch of relays but I think you’re on to something. Ever notice while cranking on almost any vehicle the radio and everything will be off? I always figured it was not enough power but I wonder if it all gets switched off on purpose….. hmmm. Thanks you gave me an idea if nothing else!
Hello Can you send a picture of the steering column linkage? My bracket which is the pivot point after column is rusted to hell and don’t know where it mounts.I believe it called Automatic Shift Linkage Bracket. Thanks

I adapted the auto linkage stuff to a different transmission. so after a certain point mine is custom and wouldnt apply anyway
