You know Nick is serious with the review when he’s in his Daisy drip! Nick should consider himself lucky Birdo isn’t in the mini games. And a surprise to no one Nick did IRL Chance Time in that drip like nothing. Crisp narration, I'd love to see more IRL vlogs like this. I definitely appreciate all the details in the land. The land has something for any kind of Mario fan, and as you pointed out, there's even Pikmin so it's more than just Mario. There is actually a Rosalina detail as if you look in the telescopes, you could see the Comet Observatory and if you zoom in, her flying around.
And I feel the same way about the store in NYC. Growing up in the metro area, that store was always the place to be. Toys R Us Times Square was even more of a heaven for kids with an indoor Ferris wheel, ice cream shop, Wonka shop, T-Rex animatronic, huge Lego models, all in this one big toy store…when I saw they were closing that location due to rent in December 2015…I was devastated. It was a big part of the change of making Times Square the family entertainment place it is today.

I went in a full ass Lugi cosplay and my friends were too as Mario, Wario, Daisy, waluigi and the best part of the whole experience was hearing kids shout out "LUIGI‼️" every like 2 minutes. It made up for not being able to go to toads cafe 😔

As someone from Hawaii, I'm so happy you mentioned about the pros and cons of both parks. My son loves Yoshi, but if we can spend a whole day in Cali's park, that just makes the decision of choosing more complicated lol

Once you get into the area at USJ you can stay as long as you want, it’s just timed entry to get in. Express passes also guarantee entry but they are pricey.
Fun Fact: Universal Orlando is currently planned to be getting their Super Nintendo World as part of their upcoming new park, Epic Universe, in 2025. It’ll be very similar to Japan’s version, but it will also have a DK section with a minecart coaster.
Isn’t it crazy how, besides the plushies in the 1-Up Factory in Japan, Nick’s cosplay was probably the only thing Daisy related that anyone in either Nintendo Worlds got to see?
Ah yes, reservation number 69...they knew exactly they were doing when giving it to you. The "Pikachu pancake" isn't a pancake, it's a pizza bun! So essentially what the treat at 7:45 is implying is that the inside of Pikachu's butt...is pizza. The Power-Up bands in the land also work as amiibo! In your case, Daisy! And yes, they play Galaxy music in the cafe! Gusty Garden's not the only one though as Good Egg Galaxy is also played. It's a mix of music from different games, including 3D Land!
When asked "How much mushroom are you gonna put in the food?", Toad said "Yes". The voice of Toad is Samantha Kelly! She's not only the voice of Toad but also the voice of PEACH! She has been doing the voices of Peach and Toad pretty much since Mario Strikers Charged and Mario Party 8 respectively. She's Toadette as well! She's probably not used to Toad speaking in English in complete sentences, but she did such a great job as usual!

Such an endearing video, and so dynamic as well, I couldn’t stop myself from smiling the whole time, the editing makes the comedic moments really amusing, the video quality is just gorgeous, the narrating is clear and does a good job of describing what the parks were like, and it’s just overall a really great video, kudos to you Nick, and especially to the editor and cameraman

When Super Nintendo World first opened in Japan, there was a youtuber who did a full tour of the two merchandise stores and I watched every single second to spot any Daisy merch...

Small note: Sometimes the SNW in america also has reservations to get into it. It seems to flip flop since the first day I went it was fine, but the second time I had to set a reservation. Both times I couldn't get into the cafe due to it also requiring the reservations.
Edit: Also the Mario Kart ride broke down while I was there but I waited in line anyway. 2 hours, and worth it.
