  • The movie Toy Story is a monumental animation in many ways. Because the story is so much better than the technical part of computer animation. I, too, fell in love with the story at the time of its release. And that story is possible because each of the characters had their own personality.
    I've been wanting to make one of the characters in Toy Story for a long time, but I thought that the best way to express it when made with a 3D printer is Buzz Lightyear, so I designed this one.
    Download STL link - fab365.net/items/335
    The Buzz Lightyear designed this time puts a lot of effort into color separation. Therefore, the number of parts is large, so please make sure that nothing is missing when printing.
    There are many small parts, so after gluing, take enough time to move on to the next job.
    Since there are many parts that can be inserted incorrectly, please align them well before attaching or gluing the parts and attach or connect them with adhesive.
    If the wings on the back do not spread or fold well, apply grease or sewing machine oil to the driving parts of the wings and they will move well.
    When assembling the ball joint used for the ankle or thigh, strong force is required, but be careful as it may be damaged if excessive force is applied.
    Please note that each joint part can wear out and loose if moved too many times.
    Please refer to the video for detailed assembly process.

    Really good job! It brings memories to me... One song comes to mind...
    You've got a friend in me
    You've got a friend in me
    When the road looks rough ahead
    And you're miles and miles
    From your nice warm bed
    You just remember what your old pal said
    Boy, you've got a friend in me
    Yeah, you've got a friend in me

    Not criticizing, but you forgot the top of Buzz’s helmet….
    But I like what I see, the articulated arms and legs, the folding wings…
    To keep him company, maybe you should make his good friend Woody.

    Everyone knows using existing franchises help immensely in marketing and popularity, but please remember to make original models even though they may not sell. Don't want to see big corps like Disney, SpaceX, etc. shut you down in a snap.

    False advertising. Only free to some, not free. Most misleading website I have seen recently. Don't waste your time or money supporting this scammer.

    • @MatteoMi
      @MatteoMi ปีที่แล้ว +1

      While I don't think your point is wrong, I honestly think you should refrain from calling someone who's having a business online "a scammer" so lightly.
      The definition of "scam" is "to trick someone into giving you money (usually in an illegal way)". While it is true that the website advertises their free models without telling the whole thing upfront, it's also true that it explains how it works *before* you pay anything: you get one free model when you register to the website, then you have to buy one to get one more for free. If you purchase more, you get more "free" models. So, yes maybe it's a bit disappointing but definitely not a scam. At the end of the day you get two models for one paid, which isn't bad at all, and let's be honest, their models are **extremely** good.

    • @MrEvlerni
      @MrEvlerni ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MatteoMi when I originally posted this, the video clearly stated this was a "free" model, with a link. Going to said link took me to a site that showed it was NOT free. This made it clearly false advertising and that made it a scam. Scams are not limited to just getting money from someone through false pretext. Scams can cover click baiting as well.

    • @MatteoMi
      @MatteoMi ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MrEvlerni it's a bit of a grey area, take the apple appstore, 99% of apps are sold as "free" but sometimes you can't even open the app without paying, which is even more disappointing since eventually you don't get anything at all. I'm not getting why, models are great, they could just honestly offer to "buy one, get one free" in their ads. Plain and simple. Then you can choose the free one from a collection (as apparently they want to keep control over the "free" ones).

    • @MrEvlerni
      @MrEvlerni ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MatteoMi Yes, but as I said originally. This was originally listed as a "Free" model. I had not even been to this guys website in a year or two, so I did not even remember it. Then I get a link that says there is this great looking model, free, all I had to do is go to the video and then follow the link. The video clearly stated "free". Then I follow all those steps, only to find out it is not actually free for me, because I got a model from him a long time ago. (one that really is not all that great tbh). So I then posted my comment. Shortly after I posted said comment, the title for this video was changed. This means that my comment had the intended effect. It is in very poor taste for ANY business to mislead a potential customer in any way just to drive people to your door. Same can be said about the apps that you mentioned. It is wrong to do something like that, no matter who you are. This is not a "grey area", and saying that it is only enables and justifies someone doing said incorrect action.

    • @MatteoMi
      @MatteoMi ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MrEvlerni I would agree if those design were made by someone else, but they designed them (as far as I can see all models have the "fab365" logo on them), I can see a lot of effort here, it takes weeks to get to a perfect model as they are and I can also see why they are trying to get people to their website in any possible way. It's really hard to keep a business based on "digital goods" running today. Everyone is expecting *everything* for free nowadays. So you put stuff for free but then everyone would download what they want and wave byebye. So you give it away for free.. with a catch. I don't think this is a justification, but it's not even one of the most deceptive marketing strategies we've ever seen, at least you eventually get your model for free, if you sign up.. or, you get one free, if you buy one. It's business after all. They might have removed the ad here, but the model is still "free" as you described, and again I can see your point, but I can see their point as well, and I still cannot call it a scam. Clickbait? Probably, yes, nothing new under the sun. Scam? Not really, can't agree on that. It doesn't mean I think it's good practice, they are definitely not building confidence, which is definitely important in any business.
