I love a good village hotel! Although the price of them has been appalling lately, The Hyde hotel is one of the oldest properties within the brand, and I just wish they’d fully refurbish their rooms instead of just replacing the carpets and wallpaper. Adding onto this, if your ever in Swindon then definitely try out going to the village hotel there, it’s a lovely grand property that used to be a De Vere hotel and it looks really posh inside, it’s very different on other properties, and most rooms are a little bit dated. But if you call up in advance asking for a refurbished room then they will definitely try and allocate you one 👍
The whole country is mouldy from all the rain . My father's company cleans a lot of hotels outside he was saying you could do therm every week generally only 6 times a year ..
The room looks nice and cosy but the price should be lower. The blind is broken and the switch is in the middle of the bed and the heat rail doesn't look safe. But its comfortable.
For what was quoted first on the their website was a a joke!!! £100 on that room doesn’t seem worth it to me one bit😂😂 You should try the Cheadle village hotel one I think that one is more modern to a certain extent
Definitely not the best hotel a cheek to charge over £100 for that room even at the price you paid. But I guess the price you pay now used to love the odd weekend away but now don't do it so often as the prices have shot up so much.
Afternoon you been scratching the carpet again 😂😂 them light switches are in a silly place there’s always sockets by the bed where I stay 😂 OMG not nice to see window ledge oh here we go is the kettle clean tonight 😂 woohoo it is 😂 bed looks nice and clean bathroom small that is dangerous showin all them wires would I stay there !!!! Nit sure till the next one 😅
Hi, to me it seems like they tried to modernise the hotel, on a lick and promise budget. But hasen't actually done a lot. I feel the cold, window wouldn't have been open long. The towel rack so bad, that's not legal. Be all the same if you had young children, they wouldn't know that was dangerous. Bit overpriced for the room.
We always take an extension lead with us to Hotels.
LOOKED good to me

It's the chain hotels which are the worst the independents are the best

I think you're spot on to be honest
They aren’t trying to be accessible for everyone.
i go to the gym there
Most i would pay for that room is about £35 i'd stay there as a last resort if no travelodge or premier inn.
Is there an app that you use to search for the best hotel prices? 🤔
Agoda is usually good
