I gotta 350z and there is alot of maintenance to do before track day. Change the clutch fluid, use only Genuine GTR fluid, change Coolant or radiator all together, brake fluid, diff fluid, tranny fluid, and make sure to get long tube headers and Borla exhaust. If your drifting then just leave the stock suspension, it's better for sway. I did an uprev tune after full bolt ons, it's good to lower the richness and allow it to be more reliable. For clutch dont go crazy buy the 180$ LUK OEM clutch, it comes with slave cylinder, so it's perfect for any driving. Stillen cold air intakes are a must, as well as Stillen YPipes. Carbon Cermaic brake pads Aluminum Radiator Long tube headers Test pipes Stillen Y pipe Stillen cold air intake Full Fluid change Borla exhaust Uprev tune Michelin sticky A3+ Front tires only chinnese on the rear (for drifting just get size 225 all four) And if your really feeling crazy Nos kit 100 shot. Motor is reliable for it.

It's a nice looking little sports car with that nice big NA engine. I think all the Z32s & Z34s are the best values in modern classic-style two-seater sports cars, with the Japanese reliability a bonus. I have a 370Z and am in the process of gradually upgrading the performance, first with suspension and handling and later with engine performance.
Very nice. I actually just bought a very cherry ‘04 in the same color 3 weeks ago and totally disagree about engines. More horsepower and less torque makes it more like other cars that aren’t Zs. Also drinks way more oil. Usually a sign it was happier the other way.

Check out the RJM clutch pedal assembly. It’s one of the first mods i did for my 07 350z (same color as yours but 60k miles). Makes a huge different in clutch pedal feel. I hate the stock feel
@Bros FOURR Speed depends on what your buying if you really read into it the hr was made bc the c1 and c2 starved of o2 that'd why de owners use a plenum but with a plenum power gains around 15bhp bringing it to around 302 without even having two intakes cone filter another 7hp ish and the de engine proven to have slightly more torque only thing the hr has over the de is higher rev range but if your going down a modding path a de will be always better to go for better gains for smaller money unless you have the money laying around
@Bros FOURR Speed yes your probably right in handle more power due to duel over head cams I both think both engines are really good and both of them equally have there fair share of problems but a hr owner will always doubt a de

The 350z is definitely a fun car! Start looking at dealers around your area, or CarGurus, auto trader, even carmax. I had to drive about an hour to get this car, but I'm sure you'll be able to find one!

Where I live I can pretty easily get a Z for around $5,000, and still in great condition aswell. Buying one soon, looking at one with 110000km on it, perfect interior, perfect exterior. Very excited to join the Z family

That's not bad, mine with $80k was closer to $10K. As long as everything checks out and it's been maintained should be a good buy. I didn't own my long, but it seemed to be in great shape, so if you are going to own it for a while possibly get a PPI on it!

Just try to find a reputable dealer. I thought this dealer was, but ended up having to sell the car back to them 2 months later. Definitely do your research and make sure it's a legit buy!

Couldn't agree more! The Z has a ton to offer! Adding a twin turbo kit really wakes the 370 up to be super epic!
306hp stock, cheap mods, 6 spd trans, and definitely under $10k these are damn good project cars.

I don’t think this cost twice as much to mod. My brother owned a 2016 nismo 370 and it wasn’t expensive at all. Parts are all about the same.

Joseph Davis I use 87, I use to do 89, but not worth the extra money. A full tank is around $40 depending on the pricing.
