I've loved watching cab cams through lockdown because I like to adventure on buses but due to safety I don't do it now so watching these feels like having a adventure but from my own home and it's really comforting ❤️

Snap to that. At least the roads where you are look far better than the sub-standard excuse for roads we have up here in Glasgow. Potholes and cracks everywhere and I've got to drive my beloved buses on them every day. Love Optare buses but I'm a die hard Volvo man. Great driving btw. Optare Solo buses have that natural comfort feel to them. They take bad roads beautifully like they were never there, they are never cramped unlike larger buses. The wheel forward layout is for me the best layout and adds more pleasure. It's like you can get that 'I just want to put my feet up while I'm driving this cool bus' feel. At 15 minutes I was almost falling asleep watching you drive as the roads are so smooth. I see at 18:25 even the BMW clowns are still as impatient and arrogant down there as they are up here?. I'd love to ban the lot of them and make the roads safer.

That was a quiet bus! I thought it was electric at first. I find it interesting that you have to stop at fare stage stops regardless. I always thought that was just London buses. They stop, open and close the doors, if no one needs that stop, and drive on.
Timing points are what we have on our running boards we have to wait time at them as can get in trouble for leaving/ running early.

Great video as always! Would you ever consider moving to Arriva to drive more of a variation of buses and routes? I'm only asking as the Yorkshire Tiger fleet seems to be Optare heaven? Hope all is well!
Hi mate, technically I am employed by arriva and I’m sure if I wanted to film on some new buses they wouldn’t mind. I honestly love the diverse array of buses we’ve got at tiger and we’ll always have different buses passing through 🚌🚌

My comment was only formed as I saw a lot of different vehicles within the video by Arriva. Maybe in the future aye? Went on this when it was route 484 in about 1990. Couldn't get every one on the Olympian and had to send another bus to dupe it!

Great video mate! How are you finding the 1307-1310 tempos from Arriva? We've still got 1311 and 1312, but I'm sure they will come to you in due time! Great buses they are and they have the leather seats which is great Keep up the good work man! Stay safe
They are great buses, I’ve only driven one of the new tempos we’ve got! They seem great. Can’t help but notice the TomTom thing on it. Is that like green road? But the seats make it look so much newer 🚌👌

Your ticket machines look a damn sight better than ours at stagecoach , the optare you can keep lol.
Having used both the ERG and Ticketer I can say ticketer are absolutely above class. Honestly it’s another level of comfort. Everything you need is there and the touch screen makes life so easier 💯💯💯

@@stevenesq But hey, not to tarnish the rep of Stagecoach completely cause some of their buses are cool. I drive buses up here in Scotland and they all suck more.
Oh god no, the ticket machines are garbage. They may be programmed differently between operators, but we use ticketer as well and its none stop issues. Usually the EMV stops working, which allows card payments
How’s the bus drive? Looks like it has a lot of horse power
