I've only recently found your channel and am thoroughly enjoying your work. Before becoming self-employed, I worked in pre-press departments for many years and as such was fascinated and entertained by your excitement about the process. It's really nice to see the customer side of things, after being so used to the mundane every-day side of things that can be the job - seeing the customer's excitement was great - I bet they loved you being there! Well done, great looking calendar too.
It was fascinating to see the behind the scenes work in the production of the calendar Nigel as hearing about it from you the other day during our workshop was very interesting. Just ordered your calendar and can honestly say to anyone thinking about it, they wont be disappointed. I know you have shared a lot of fantastic images online but seeing some of these in print the other day was breathtaking to see the detail up close and really look forward to seeing more of them in print
Loved this video! It took me back 4+ decades to when I worked at a folding carton manufacturer that my dad managed. I worked a few summers there to help pay for college and worked on and around large litho presses doing various jobs from mixing ink to feeding the stock in one end or gathering the freshly printed & cut cartons off the line at the end of the the various machines. The machines were bigger and less high tech but the process is still about the same. Great job Nigel! Congratulations on the calendar, it looks superb!

It is amazing that a process more than 100 years old still produces such beautiful images. I guess the computerization of the process helps bring the production cost down but there is still a lot of work involved. Thanks for taking us through the process.

This video was so inspiring. It's the middle of October, and I'm just now starting to design my very first photo calendar to sell online. I may have to scale back on the production a bit compared to you, and I don't have that big of an audience yet, but I already can't wait to hold it in my hand for the first time :) I used to be a Graphic Designer for many years, so I may design it completely from scratch myself!

Top vlog Nigel. OMG I went to an air show on Friday and I think their F35 fighter jet was manufactured easier LOL. I think your pricing is very reasonable and the images are super. I have always thought about doing a calendar but (although not the quality) both Dunelm and The Range do nice calendars with stunning images for £7.99 and thats what we photographers are up against. I think images in Calendars are very personal. Fantastic job Nigel, very professional I wish you big sales.

New to your channel and new to photography. This week I took the plunge after years of putting it off and bought a my first DSLR, Nikon D3400. Nothing near your gear I'm sure but for me a start on something that I find interesting. It's been learning curve for me with regards to the exposure triangle etc. Ive looked at styles of photography but for me landscape is something that I really want photograph. Enjoying your videos and look forward to learning more.
I did have an idea for your channel and would be really good to see you go out with an entry level dlsr and do your thing and see what the results are compared with your Nikon or Fuji setups. Similar to what you did with the Nikon and Fuji comparison video which I found really interesting.

Enjoyed seeing the Calendar Printing process and all the work and care you put into it all the way down to the paper selection process. I had no idea behind the scenes printing and all that went into that was that interesting. Nerdism I guess. It gives more appreciation for the calendar itself which is also art. It’s Christmas 🎄 today, preordering has long past due. But I ordered one from all the way across the big pond in Pittsburgh, PA, order #xxx98.
