Hi Lou I just seen this video and wanted to share there is an easier way to freshen you mattress without having to wash it for possible bed bugs all you need to do is sprinkle your mattress with carb soda (baking soda) leave it sit for a bit then vacuum the mattress then spray with lavender oil bed bugs hate it or even Teatree oil then hang it out in the sun for a few hours :) this will save you money on not having to wash the mattress. I hope this tip helps in the future. BTW I love your videos they give me a lot of peace knowing I am not the only one struggling with living alone.....

yeah I'm certain she does not have bed bugs if she did she would know cause she would have bites all over her body not an allergic reaction issue. bed bug bites leave welts and bumps like mosquito bites and they hurt when they bite you.

Just want to share the idea of keeping the thin bed mattress clean and hygienic, I put a " quilted waterproof bed mattress cover " so I only wash the cover instead of the thin bed mattress. You probably didn't see my comment well hidden after your " Pinned comment " on your video..." Staying at home on a rainy day " some part of my comment was about how to use the chopsticks. The gift you prepared for your friend is totally precious...I always believed that, the best gift is not about the price or expensive things, but it's about the thoughts and the genuine love and wishes that comes from the heart of the giver. If you put your futon , bedcovers and mattress on the balcony on a sunny but freezing day for a get hours it will kill all the mites and really refresh your stuff! Greetings from Germany

@@ackman3981 it depends Many unless it's a house do not have really a washer and dryer even the small ones that could stack underneath the counter they could take like the smallest a loads. Show they end up going down to the laundromat. But the problem is there so many of them work so damn hard and so many hours that they can do it when they can and they try to make time like on a weekend or on a day off. Some just try to keep their work clothes like a skirt and a blouse and things clean very often and the other stuff can be short a pileup till they have time
@@truckerkevthepaidtourist - Since the closet space looks so small compared to what I have in California, they do not have many clothes when they open theirs. Washing often is an ingrained part of life there probably.
