It ticks me off that people talk crap about you living in a trailer park. Your children have a home! They have a roof over their heads and walls to shield them from the elements. Who cares if it's a trailer inside a trailer park. Talk about superficial!

My youngest brother didn’t talk until 4 because he had so many siblings, if he really wanted something all he had to do was point and someone would get him what he wanted. One day he just started talking and hasn’t stopped since haha

Whats wrong with people criticizing where you live? Good Lord, I honestly love your home. I think you have an awesome home that supports everyone's needs in your family and appears to be really well set up. Love you guys!

You shouldn't have to explain where you live, your a great mother!! GOD Bless you and your family. The way your kids love each other and how everyone is happy is proof in itself that you and Lonnie are Ausome parents!! Thank you for doing what you do and showing so much inspiration.

I didn't know you lived in a trailer park but I don't see anything wrong with that at the end of the day your family have a roof over there head.whoever commented on that should think before posting such statements.

Of course, being your friend, I really don't want you to take offense to this comment or think that I'm telling you what to do! High functioning autism/Aspergers is very atypical on the autism spectrum. Rafael is super social and has good eye contact. You may not know until Lex talks more to see what his interests are. I saw Lex hand flap when he was talking to the therapist. Is that just a one off or does he do that a lot? Rafaels stims are super subtle, but they are there if you look for it. If it were me, I would still have him evaluated because it will point out all of the weak points of his development and at least you will know where to focus on with therapies or things that you can do at home for him. Pediatricians usually know nothing about Aspergers syndrome because it is so atypical. I wouldn't even bother listening to them about it. Abigails getting evaluated based on communication delay, screaming, and stimming (she has the same stims as Rafael). Her speech isn't delayed at all, its the communication. She can repeat everything we say, which may or may not be echolalia at this point. It could just be normal language development, this young. Lex's speech is going to explode with therapy. My first sons speech was amazing after he started, but he was in it for 8 years. You will be one proud mommy all day long with that one, because it happens rapidly and by the end of this year, he's going to be saying all kinds of things! Wish we could get therapy again. We likely won't get any until we move to America because there is another year long waiting list to get services. It's crazy. Good luck!

I had therapy for stuttering back in the 1950s and it really helped me. Some children don't speak because they are scared, bullied or laughed at by others, including adults. The therapy was provided by the public school system but was not on campus.

It's great that Lex is pointing and trying to communicate. My son did not talk in 3 word sentences until he was almost 3 years old. He woke up one morning and said "Shawn wants cereal". The rest of the day he was talking in all 3 and 4 word sentences. Maybe Lex will do the same. It is great that he is getting speech therapy.

I had not noticed that you live in a trailer park. Your home is lovely. I used to live in a trailer myself. In the UK it's called a static caravan. I think it's the same thing. Love your channel, your home and your children x

Pardon my language, but screw anyone who feels free to comment on the sacrifices you make, for the betterment of your children. It's called "parenting" and it is a verb! And unless, those people want to fork over their money to pay your bills - they can tick a lock :) Good on you for not being afraid to try putting Noah back in school. There are things parents can't teach their kids and there is no shame in needing help.

I’m glad that you had such a great day with lex and got that news. Our pediatrician made a comment that it’s the number one thing that she sends toddlers for and it’s pretty common. My husband and myself actually both had speech therapy in school. I was in it till 4th grade because I didn’t pronounce all of my words correctly. Language is hard! Lol

Yay for Lex saying a new word. I know how frustrating it is to wait on speech therapy. My sons speech first raised an alarm I suppose you could call it when he was 2 and like Lex said very little. It wasn't until my son was 3 years and 3 months old before we finally got an appointment and he was 3 years 6 months before he actually seen a speech therapist. In the 19 months we're waited on the speech therapist my son's speech is slowly getting there he does say more words. There are words he says such as water etc when he wants something but a lot are just words he repeats when you say and even then his limit is around 30-35 words at the moment and he even has started saying three word sentences such as 'what is this?' it's been such a long, slow process and at times I thought he'd never talk. I didn't hear my son say Mummy until he was 3 years old and it was the best moment ever. We're in that in between stage with him at the moment. He's had developmental specialists assess him and of course the speech therapist and it does look like he will eventually get an autism diagnosis but only time will tell really. I'm so happy to hear that the doctor doesn't think Lex needs an eval :D Big brave boy having his blood taken, way to go Lex! I never knew you live in a mobile home. I think you & Lonnie are doing amazing and doing what's necessary for your kids. Who the heck cares where you live? It's clear that it's working for you all and that the kids are happy and that there's so much love in your home, that's the important things.

I think by seeing your TH-cam videos that the area your house is in is lovely and nice and quite and also I love your house I think it's beautiful inside and out (I live in uk England in a 3 bedroom house with mum , dad , brother, two dogs and me I'm 16)and instead of being one of them TH-cam channel that make it look like their life is perfect and they have no struggles you guys don't you are truthful and even though you have good times you also have bad times which you don't try to hide and even though your house isn't really clean like some five star hotel room it shows you care more about your family than a tiny bit of cleaning which is brilliant (even if it is a mobile home which there nothing wrong with and I thought it was just a all ground floor house anyway ) so don't worry about what people say and if you need to save money or something your family is a genuine real family that has good and bad times but you always push through the end
My family can relate to your family 100% with everything the moderate autism and dyscalculia and dyslexia which is ME and my 19 tear old brother ADHD and dad works a lot and my mum works at special needs school and she cares for me all the time and try's to get me the support I need in school like you do Noah and our family try and need to save money and saves it in any possible way like you guys and my mum cares more about family than cleaning like you guys and we all support and love each other like you guys and loads more stuff are family can relate 100% the only differences are you guys are younger because my mum 46 and dad 56 and that I only have one brother but two dogs and that my house has two floor levels ground floor and first floor and I live in 3 bedroom house and that you live in Florida and I live in England in the UK 🇬🇧 and that both my parents work and my mum looks after me too like you do Noah and that I am not homeschooled and probably a few other bits , you are 100% relatable and like my family so keep doing what your doing because it's brilliant 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😁😁😁😁😁

I love Lex's curls so much (and just had to say that). And that is such great news. And right before you started talking about the genetic testing I was wondering if you'd had it done with Lex. We've had it done with our oldest and youngest and now they're sending our three year old to a geneticist in June (but he's seriously one of the most neurotypical people in the house with just "global developmental delay").
I'm so sorry about how frustrating the ABA situation is right now. We do in clinic and have had a good experience. The wait lists are insane here (our youngest got in fast because of her older sister, or we'd still be waiting). I hope you guys are able to find a place you're happy with that works out soon.

He has a PVL which is a brain injury and was at risk for Cerebral Palsy. I love that you post these videos. I definitely don't feel alone. My baby is also named Liam 😀.

My 20 month old recently has been diagnosed with a Mixed Expressive Receptive Language Disorder and we're in speech therapy once a week. We are also going to have genetic testing. Ours is more geared towards ruling out Dravet's Syndrome and other forms of Epilepsy. He's had about 10 Febrile Seizures in the last year.

Previously, I was an ABA therapist when I attended college. Each agency differs tremendously in there services. The best nationwide ABA company is CARD (center for autism and related disorders). Is there one in your area? This makes me really sad, I didn’t know it was this hard to enroll your child in ABA. But otherwise, I have seen incredible changes in my clients and completely recommend ABA
