Warm weather and the ice is melting…. We better get used to it because that’s the new reality. Anyway I’m enjoying your adventures in awesome landscapes. Fair winds.
I suppose this might appeal to armchair sailors, but a couple sailing in a 55 ft aluminium Boreal costing north of a €1 million is so far beyond reality for most sailors. There are plenty of TH-cam channels showing reality, sailors in small and often old boats, with limited funds, and achieving just as much.
Reality is some can afford a 55’ Boreal and some can’t. Good on them if they can. It’s not a competition to see who can do what with the minimum possible! If you were to ask the intrepid sailors you refer to, would they prefer a Boreal 55 to their own boat, I have feeling I know what the answer would be from most - “Hell yeah!” Sounds a bit like the green eyed monster has shown his face…
This is their reality and they're taking us along for the ride. The way they they handle their boat and take strong winds in their stride I dare say this isn't their first boat. They're not asking for patreons or putting out a wish list, no dramatic headlines. Do you sift through TH-cam looking for all the "unreal" sailing channels or did you just pick on this one? Plenty out there with boats far beyond the means of most of us. Plenty of us out there with small/tiny boats that are apparently armchair sailors because we can watch and appreciate without envy.
You are so right there are a lot of sailors out there achieving much greater things! We are not sailing to prove anything, we are just out there enjoying life and making videos is a fun project. There is saying that the best boat is the one you cast off with and one thing we learned during our seven years of sailing is that the most experienced sailors are the most humble, no matter what boat they are sailing.

Thank you! You can't imagine how many times we have said it to ourselves when editing, and still keep forgetting to close (the damn) door 😂
So the authorities don't get uptight about the Mauser?
We had to rent a weapon to be allowed to venture ashore. So we had to apply for a special Svalbard weapon licence to rent this ”antique” Mauser 😎
What GOD did u contact for this weather? Maybe i also could give him/her a call....
Yes, we where amazingly lucky with the weather, maybe Surya did help us as we did Surya namaskar almost daily 🙏🏻

Try not to be petty! Sailing is sailing..
