This video is totally redundant as you didn't mention Anschutz. Anschutz has won more Olympic medals than any other manufacturer, making it arguably, the best rimfire rifle in the world.

If you don't mind a pinned barrel attachment, similar to Savage bolt guns. Personally I prefer a barrel that is screwed into the receiver via a threaded assembly, like the CZ 452's (not the 455) or the Hatsan Escort 22lr

A few years ago I traded my marlin 22lr for a remington 597 22lr. The trigger on the remington was very stiff and it was hard to keep on target while pulling it. I tried to work the hammer to get an easier pull to no avail. I finally ordered a volquartsen trigger for it. It is a tack driver now.

You missed the extremely accurate Lithgow LA101. I use a Lithgow LA101 in .22lr. (also available in .22 WMR and .17 HMR) for benchrest competition (Hunter class) but have outscored fancy Target rifles that cost 5 times as much. The last shoot that I attended, I score 250 out of a possible 250 with 11 centers to defeat the best target rifle by one center. I also have a Browning BL22 for fun. Blessings from Australia, the home of the Lithgow.

You overlooked the best of them all, the Marlin 39A. Although currently not being manufactured it is still THE premium in .22's and as accurate as it gets. At least mine was. It is now being used by my great grandson. That's four generations on the same rifle which is still going strong.

As we say in Australia, Yeah, Nah. No mention of Anschutz or the Lithgow 101. CZ 455's are no longer in production. Try the 457. A list of top end .22's would be better than .22's that you know the name of. AR7? Henry Golden Boy? I'd even add the 10/22 to the list but I know it would cause offense.

I use and love my Marlin Model 60 made in 1976 before they made any changes. It has a 22" barrel and 18 shot magazine. With Winchester 40 grain Hyper Velocity hollow points shooting 1470 ft per sec, I can shoot 1" groups at 80 yards. It drops 2" at 80 yards if zeroed at 40 yards. That is better than I ever shot with my Ruger 10/22 which has a little bit better trigger.

to me one of the most accurate .22 rimfire rifles is the Walther .22 LR bullpup (I have one) very short but have a full length barrel (bull pup style to make short the overall length)... very accurate and not sooo expensive plus it can be converted for left handed and does not need a gunsmith to do it...
another .22 LR extremely accurate is the SAKO Quattro, which can be also be converted to .22 wrm, and .17... should be listed

I bought an AR7 last March. You said msrp is $550. That sounds high, Dick's was selling it for $279. I also put a OMMO 3-9X40 Rifle Scope on it. It won't fit in the stock with the scope therefore I got the Redfield 47327 quick release rings which must be slid on and off without the barrel attached. But it holds a zero pretty well even after detaching and reattaching it.

Well you mentioned the Tikka 22 lr that comes in at 1200.00, I do not own one but I do have a center fire T3x in 243 and it is a very accurate rifle. I also have a Henry in 45/70 and may take this to Alaska to hunt moose. The rifle will shoot a 3 shoot Group touching at 100 yds with leverloution ammo. So I love Henery and Tikka rifles but, I like German made 22 rifles and when I shot small bore rifle Anshutz is what I used, I have not checked prices lately but with the Tikka with a 1200 price tag you could get a Anshutz 22 new for about 1800 and find a used one for 1200 maybe a little less. They have many models to choose from, Full target models to hunting models and everything in-between. I have own several in the past and if the maintenance is performed properly they could out last you and your kids and their kids. But I do like other brands of 22 rf and have many but for the price I think Anshutz is ithe step above. Thanks.

Kind of like that first folding knife from Mom and Dad. And I had to learn how to shoot and hunt with his long bow, before I could hunt with the rifle. Many ground hog took the dirt nap because of that rifle. Many, many ground hog. Fantastic rifle, that will rarely be surpassed in craftmanship and style.

I've shot many 22's and none has ever been as accurate as this one. Ruger stoped Manufacturing it in the late 80's due to manufacturing cost. Solid steal milled receiver, cold foraged hammered barrel gets pricey for a 22. If you can find one, you'll pay $800+ for it. But worth evere penny.

I have 3 of the FA on your list and I think they're there by virtue of volume of production
The 10/22 ruger is rugged but unreliable. Its mag , for me regularly misfire. The TX 1 utilises the TX 3 stock which is not always a good fit. This causes accuracy issues. Agree totally with the HENRY Golden Boy. Great littke firearm. I have about 25 .22 rifles and my favourite fit accuracy, reliability, and use the Browning 16 inch barrel T Bolt. There are many rabbits that which they hadn't met it. TheHMR ì the same configuration is just as accurate for those rabbits who thin k they're safe at distance. Also have a lever Browning in 22 which is good, has less travel in the lever than the Henry , but both are excellent firearms. Just my thoughts. Murray

I've learned one thing watching your videos and that is that I don't need to waste any more time watching any more. How in the world do you have a Henry Golden Boy as the most accurate .22lr rifle available in 2023? I love Henry rifles and admire their fit and finish but have never seen any evidence that the Golden Boy is the most accurate .22lr rifle available in 2023. I also don't believe the CZ455 is even offered in 2023. If you're including used .22lr, how can the Ruger 10/22 be on the list when the Marlin Model 60 isn't? In my opinion, some substantial evidence to explain and support your choices is needed.

I saw as many big bore centerfire rifles as 22's what gives ? And the CZ American does not come with the curved beech stock' the American does come with the Turkish Walnut. And you would be hard pressed to find a 22 that would compare with the accuracy of the CZ.

since this article was supposed to be about the most accurate rifles, it seems odd you list the ar-7 and a lever action Henry. also most of the images you show in the beginning are of center fire rifles. I'm curious what criteria you used to determine accuracy? You also didn't mention a few rifles I would think would be considered like Tactical Solutions, Voloquartsen, and Anschutz.

Somewhat of a joke review starting out, it's supposed to be regarding .22 rifles, but most of the rifles shown being shot in the video are high power center fire caliber rifles, plus earlier it shows the children shooting them as good starter rifles/caliber; however it shows them with recoil, the .22 doesn't kick; otherwise the make/models that are recommended seem reasonable.
