Happy Birthday Rudy ! Great video. There is no freakin way I would display that head in my collection . Scared the piss out of me when I saw this film back in the sixties on Creature Feature. Chanel 56 . I still have a mistrust of doctors imagining what they are up to in their off time. I had two lobby cards from this , one with Jan and the other closet monster. Sold them to fund buying some Kaiju. Gargantuas. Kind of wish I still had them , but enjoy seeing the brown and green brothers battling it out on my shelf!
Hi Rudy, Those trays are called “butcher trays” and they’re made of enameled metal. They can easily be found on the internet, graphic artists used them for watercolor and gouache in the 1950’s. Thanks for the video, really love this!
That’s right I remember watching the illustrators. My dad worked with use them when I was a teenager. My dad was a commercial artist/type setter and shared space with some Chicago’s best illustrators. They mostly did airbrush work throughout the 80s
Love that movie! Those masks are cool!
What a great buy. You should try to get that old anatomy book!
The Brain That Wouldn't Die is a great movie 🧠
According to Wikipedia the movie was completed in 1959 under the title The Black Door but was not theatrically released until May 3rd 1962
When he bites a chunk of the Dr. and spits it on the ground! Classic!

Love Brain. It’s bloody! Also a big fan of the hot rod, Topstone and Blaisdell-heavy Ghost Of Dragstrip Hollow.
Amazing! But hey Rudy who's that vampire girl behind ya sitting on top nosferatu ? It reminds me of Ingrid Pitt...
That’s a vintage head of Laura lady, David lady’s wife as a vampire
Worth the wait thank u!
