It's still there today because they want 5K over MSRP plus dealer fees and prep comes to about 6500 over MSRP. I offered them MSRP cash right now they said NO! They said, another got 12K over list. I'm sure that story will keep growing until some dealer says ''we only want 10K over list'' ''other dealers are getting 50K over list'' .

He took me for a ride on it and boy was I hooked, one of the greatest feelings in the world for a 9 year old. In 64 bought my first little used rent a bike and have been riding ever since. If you add repainting the bags and fairing, adding saddlebag guards, adding a guard to the seat, buying new spoke wheels and white walls and adding the labor to take off and reinstall all those changes to a 2021 police Electra Glide, the cost will be WAYYYY over the $30,000.00 to buy a revival.

The FLHTP would be a better value. The other thing is, every one of those is spoken for and probably went for over MSRP. I like the bike, but it's not reasonable to think I'd get one. It's really to drive people into the showroom. It is Zipper and John Wintergreen approved. I did ride a PA today though. I agree with the PD bike comparison. The first thing I thought. In terms of retro, I like the Challenger. It's closest we have today to a retro car.

My choice would be the '65 GTO and the '66 Dodge 426 HEMI...I had 'em both and they were fantastic! The mega-beautiful Continental Mark II was made for only two years, '56 and '57; beautiful hand-made cars selling for ten grand way back then. Joe knew I worked in deland west of Daytona beach and asked me if I’d ride the bike for a few days with the lights and siren and radio box., none of the PD accessories were hooked up , but it was a definite police bike. The next day going to work , I was stopped 4 different times by the deland PD so they could admire the bike .,by the time i got home that night. Hi from Italy mr Palladino ...can I ask u 1 thing please ?
What is the best setup size wheel for touring models ?
I mean this revival is 16/16
    Road glide special is 18/19
Can I ask u what is best for handling?because u know in Italy we have not your large street 😂
Tnx if u or some1 can answer me !

The different size wheels and tires have no effect on the turning radius. This is because the height of the tire on a 19'' wheel is about the same as a 16'' wheel. That's because the tires on the 19'' wheel has a very thin sidewall vs the tire on the 16'' wheel.

The patch will be put on my jacket tomorrow. First thing in the morning I'll watching the DVD. Thank you Motorman for your expert advice.

Not really. I already have a 2020 blue e/glide police the same color. I could paint the bags and the fairing birch white for 500 bucks. I have the police seat and can have it reupholstered, 150 bucks, and I'd put Shinko wide whites for 200, the emblems, 150, and all I'd need was the seat rail, say 150 more. Badabing, I'm there. That's 1150 bucks. I'd keep the wheels I already have. Wires are a pain. I'd do a wrap for the bottom of the tank. Another 100 bucks.

Great humor and insight as always Motorman. ;-) I agree they should have made 3000 but that is part of the game...the rarer something of beauty is, the more desirable it can become. (Just think if Rembrandt made thousands of Mona Lisa's, you or I could afford one. HA!)
Checked out 2 local dealers in Omaha and one was asking $5K more and the other said something like $10K but we were having a friendly chat and I didn't nail him down on specifics.
As far as $30K, if you want a bike JUST like this it will be cheaper to get this than trying to make one from a $19K Standard.
My Guess without labor to remove and install...world class paint job: $4K, the 114" with more chrome and upgraded air cleaner: $3K, spotlights: $435, bag guards: $300, color match seat: $400 , RDRS: $1K , wheels and tires: $ 1.5 K, front fender bumper, light, trim and tank badge: $200, and last but not least the entertainment system: $2k.
That comes to $12,835 or your Standard clone would cost $31,835 and it would never have the resale value (or loan value)of the original.
Sure you could get a Standard or even a police bike for less and add a few (but not all) parts. And sure your "uncle Jimmy" could give you a "nice" paint job for $2K, but even if you did all the work yourself you would not really be saving money if you HAD to have a bike JUST like this.

I'd like to see them make a modern 1967 Cougar. Just like the 1967 Cougar with the hidden headlights and 1 2 3 sequential tail light turn signals, but modernized with LED lighting, and with a GPS screen on the inside, etc.
