@Cesira yeah there’s two elements. One is that edge and Rey haven’t been here for a while and they’re the ones we mostly grew up watching. But also we sing at the football, the cricket and even the darts. Have a beer and sing songs through the whole thing is the general British sports crowd where as I think Americans generally just clap and cheer at goals and things.
How did Edge manage not to get super emotional when that crowd literally serenaded him to the ring? He already tried so hard pulling the reins on his tears of joy when he returned at the 2020 Royal Rumble, but this right here is nothing but epic!
I'd not be able to help myself. To know people value my work, career, & legacy so much that they sing could basically fill in for my entrance chorus, I'd have tears for sure.

I was at Wrestlrmania 21 too. Flew all the way from Sydney Australia. I shouted out "It's your time Edge!" during his entrance in the MITB match I was hoping to go next year it would of been 18 years and back in Hollywood with my son, but alas it is not meant to be....
Alter Bridge (the band that does Edge's theme song) can barely fill a 1000 spots club in their homeland of USA for a gig. But their last UK tour in November 2022, they literally sold out every show and filled the O2 arena to finish the tour. I would say most of the crowd already knew the song originally by the band, and then recognized it as Edge's theme song.
UK crowds are the best. The pop they gave to Edge was amazing and also they were singing Drew Mcintyre chants during the whole main event. Amazing stuff❤️
There’s also a whole lot more people there. And US crowds are often further away/mic’d up funny. But yeah Brits have a party atmosphere at any live event, football, darts, wrestling, it’s always a good crack.
UK crowds in particular are always hot because they get them once a year at most for live events, and like once every five years (minimum) for a PPV/Premium Live Event. I'm assuming that at least part of why the WWE doesn't run more shows there is due to tax law, more than travel expenses. (Plus there's probably at least a few stars who have Visa issues due to legal troubles in their past.)
I was there and it was pure electricity when Metalingus hit , Childhood dream to hear it in person and now being in my early 20's i never thought i'd hear it but it didnt disappoint , what an experience 😊
I am from Italy and I went at Clash at the castle. All I can say is "Unbelievable". All the atmosphere. And singing Metalingus made me to return in the hotel in London (where I was staying for the weekend) sunday morning without the voice! Amazing experience, a dream ♥️
Regular WM, Arabian WM and Europe WM. I hope it becomes standard. Not that I like the Arabian one but WWE always builts it like a WM so better matches and big stadium is always better than a regular PPV with an regular arena. IMO they should remove Survivor Series as a 'big PPV' because it isn't no more like the old days, it's not scheduled in a big stadium either. And should be replaced to have these 3 big events + Royal Rumble + SummerSlam as the big events of the year.
I’d say European. They could do this in Germany and it would be just as cool. And I’m a Brit, grateful they come here. But they’d do well in Germany, Italy, Sweden.. it’d be the same. Gunther main eventing in Germany/Austria would be insane.
