@@stevecollins6858 In the U.S they definitely don't get the respect that they deserve. They should be selling out stadiums, but they only sell out places like The Rave/Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The UK recognizes greatness when they see it in music that's for sure.

@@Slacker4Life3some people lost interest when they grow up. I also stopped watching but it's this video that came to my feed and I couldn't stop myself clicking on it.
I'd say it more had to do with growing out of it. I found myself finding less time to stay invested and the monthly PPVs that I couldn't buy with my own money always made me feel like I wasn't getting the most out of it. That coupled with the kid friendly era that followed soon after I stopped, there was no good reason (and still isn't) for me to go back.
That was awfully nice of Christian to help the stage crew breakdown the ring before the show ended.

I believe Adam is friends with Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti when the song was written the version played was specifically for Adam, so Vince couldn't impound it because he doesn't have exclusive rights to it. I literally got goosebumps and teared up a little when it played. Brought back awesome memories is one of my favorite entrance songs for a wrestler. 😊

I’ve never witnessed anything like that. The crowd went from loud due to the lights going out, to louder when they thought they saw him, to even louder when the road said RATED R, to much louder once the “You think you know me” played, to even louder than that once the iconic music hit, to even louder once he came through the smoke! My God! That was unbelievably awesome!!!

One of the best debuts/returns I've ever seen in wrestling.
This felt so special because it feels like Edge is returning to real wrestling. As if he's saving the day for old school wrestling fans. That's why it had such an emotional feeling.

Kudos to the announcers for just letting the moment speak for itself. It's an underrated skill for people who talk for a living, but knowing when to shut the hell up is huge. A moment like this never needed blow by blow narration, and I'm glad it didn't get it.

Coming back to watch this, Adam Copeland was exactly the thing AEW needed to start turning the ship around after the unfortunate events of the summer. His debut didn't fix everything, but it was a palette cleanser. Just glad he's doing his thing.

One of the things I liked about this debut is the commentary stood quiet most of the time, just letting the moment be enjoyed by everyone. This is AEW's most valuable signing ever it will help them bring a lot of people into the company
They always do it.
Same happened with Keith Lee, CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole etc
It really lets the moments breathe and I've always liked it when they do it because there wasn't really a need for commentary until the physicality started.
It brought me over, seeing this made me teary eyed!
I love it when wrestlers license music from an artist independent from wrestling companies. They can at the very least take their iconic entrance theme with them when they leave.

I haven't been following wrestling for quite some time, but these two iconic figures from my childhood have always had a lasting impact on me. Christian was consistently underrated, so it's genuinely heartwarming to witness their reunion, and more importantly, to see Christian finally getting the recognition he has always deserved

I’ll be honest, I’d love to see Edge wrestle some AEW talent and even win the Title or a few titles. For AEW this is a win but they gotta get rid of those EVPs and replace them with real wrestling minds to help AEW grow. I don’t know who, but I believe they need better wrestling minds.

I think that they have strayed a bit from their original goal and message… And even Chris Jericho in the past on podcasts has talked about what he views his role as in the company, and he doesn’t want it to go to EVP every man for himself kind of thing, while the top-tier only benefits.
But that’s the problem, the bigger you get the more you end up, throwing away from your original mission and the more muddy the waters can be.
There needs to be some kind of raining in process early on so that once they go to HBO and all of this other stuff they’re talking about, they don’t turn into WCW .

The fact that the TNT title was the main event of the ppv and Edge, Christian, Sting, and Darby is part of this storyline make it extra good. Christian is really bringing the TNT title to another level!

Sting is such a special wrestler in our lifetimes..its insane how he's been in there with everybody..prime Warrior, Bret, Arn Anderson, best version of Vader, Rick Rude, etc.
Crazy thing about sting and edge being in the same ring.. I think he may be one of only like 3 people who have been in the ring with both sting and taker.
It is not a great time to be a wrestling fan when they need guys in their 50's and 60's constantly coming back, wrecking their bodies and diminishing the nostalgic appeal in order to keep it interesting.
