I enjoyed the comparison of these 2 ships mates. We will cruise on the Carnival Freedom for the 1st time the 2nd week of December. We have sailed on the Valor once (2016) and the Liberty twice (2022). The Liberty lacks the Red Frog Pub which I hope it eventually gets that during its next drydock. The decor on the Valor is much more "kitchy" than Liberty. Freedom looks almost as "kitchy" as Valor. Liberty is more toned down with more of an elegant look. Conquest lacks the Mongolian Wok that the Liberty has but the rest is essentially the same. The Freedom itinerary to DR and Grand Turk is the same as the one we took on the Carnival Sunshine back in 2018. Carnival Sunshine had everything and more! Still my most favorite Carnival ship. Carnival Sunrise which we sailed on in December 2021 had all the same places as the Freedom but more tightly packed.
@@stanross9708 During the cruise it wasn’t affected just smelled horrible in the hallway whenever you came out of stateroom or went to stateroom. But on the last night the smell was coming in the stateroom I couldn’t even breathe. They did have to turn off everything the morning we got off. They was getting ready to change pipes so people could not use the restroom or use the drink machines. They had to get water coolers so people could get water to drink.

I cruise in 10 days on the freedom
My niece was on this ship when the wings caught on fire. I just got off freedom. Sewage system was horrible. They was trying to fix when we got off.
