A year later, are you happy with the MRTuner tune? I am getting ready to do a stage 2 with the Black Haze Workshops pipe. It's also a 3 inch pipe. I really liked the way yours sounded with the muffler. I think that will be perfect for my long commute.
There is no way it makes 170bhp and 340lb/ft at the wheel. 170bhp 2.0TDi on common rail would make maybe 280lb/ft after a tune. If it made more torque, it'd make more horsepower, too.
My warranty is up the end of this year, im thinking about doing this with the Rawtex kit and a high flow DOC cat to keep the unburned diesel smell down. Did you remove the DPF yourself ? only thing holding me back is the pita removing it can be. That and im a little concerned about extended warm up times since the EGR does make the car warm up wayyy quicker in the winter but i may get a frost heater for cold mornings. I have the DSG so ill get the tune for that as well.
Not many, depending on your county and local emissions regs, it’s not legal but a lot of independent contractor welders would. Or you can buy a pre-made one on many websites
fun fact: many exhaust shops cannot legally remove your functioning equipment. HOWEVER, if someone climbed under your car in the middle of the night and stole your catalytic converter with a Sawzall, then the exhaust shop is allowed to legally "fix" your exhaust, in many places, with a straight pipe until you can get the replacement parts.
Machine Hut very little if at all. I cruise around 55-70mph (1700-2000rpms) depending on the highway and don’t notice anything. It sounds stock. But anything above 2500 sounds really throaty and resonates quite a bit. I’ll try to get some sound clips in a future video
Dude that’s awesome . I don’t think I will let mine go. I was considering a trade in for a 5speed manual forester 12’ but someone snagged it. I low key never want to get rid of the Jettwag

make more vids on the car !! this is sick dude
Turn off Traction Control. You can rev it higher in park/neutral.
:o i will try this

weird, your turbo spools down for a long time when you shut off the car, mine only whistles for a second and then the sound is gone

have any lowering springs or coils you can recommend? I have a 2013 golf sportwagen but basically same thing :P

Saleniuc Speed Shop Ok sounds good, ya I’m in Florida which is a super chill state with emissions
Spencer Clark lucky I’m on Oregon but I’m in a part that doesn’t have DEQ so it’s hard to find a place willing to do it.

Hi, I got a TDI wagon same year as your. Please share the leveling kit PN/link.
Why didn't you just put a 3 inch mbrp flow through muffler? That would make your car sound way better.
Did you find any drone while cruising at highway speeds?

The stock car has a drone on the highway.
Love the build! Mr tunes, where is he out of? contact information would greatly be appreciated. thanks
Have you taken your Sportwagen on trails or overland? Considering downgrading from mine
Yes! Did some mild trails with some snow even and it was keeping up with the real 4x4 rigs 😀

Did you lift yours if so what kit did you use?

Pay attention 🤦♂️
Do you notice any smells inside the car with the delete?
Where did you get the lift blocks and how hard were they to install
Mike Reid www.ebay.com/itm/Lift-Kit-for-VW-Tiguan-Golf-Jetta-Passat-Touran-1-2-30mm-strut-spacers/283285907520?hash=item41f527e840:g:bP8AAOSwjR5cXplo
Mike Reid took me maybe 2 hours to install. Very simple. Rear blocks go under the stock springs, front blocks go above the shock/strut combo.
How many miles did you drive with delete already. How do u smog ?
Some states don't require it on diesels. I live in North Carolina and there is only a safety inspection for diesels. No emissions testing.
any fumes smell after egr OR dpf delete?
Chris Dieck mild, I’m willing to work with it
