An old friend of mine told the story of being in the “eye” of a tornado as it was forming on the ground. She n her husband n brother in law were visiting a new home development construction site on a Sunday when no one was working. Dreaming of maybe of buying there later. Suddenly the wind picked up n big heavy machinery started moving on its own. The trees “bent” over. Her brother in law realized n screamed to run to the car. They got out of that area n drove away like crazy. When far enough away they looked back n saw a tornado had formed. They were IN the Eye as it was forming on the ground!
They experienced what is called "Front line winds". I'm in public service and one hot July day a national weather came over the radio. It warned a supercell was moving east at 85mph and would be in my town in 30 minutes. In 30 minutes I was facing west and what appeared to be a hundred foot wall that was black and appeared like a downward waterfall. It passed right over me. After it passed over huge trees and power lines were downed through my city. Driving all over the city helping people out, I spoke to a person who grew up in Oklahoma. He said what I saw was horizontal rotation and at some point, it goes upright. He went on to say that tornadoes have to be witnessed to be declared. He then said, that black waterfall wasn't water, but wind with debris in it. Yes, I was in it. Later on the news media said a tornado was likely
Fyi..wish Rabbi would of mention this..on Sept 25 a comet entered our atmosphere and is still orbiting our planet and will do so for 70 days until Dec 6...shalom
Can you say that a TORNADO is like the FINGER of G-D, illustrating His force and power in directing judgment and mercy? And a HURRICANE demonstrates the pasuk in the Siddur where it says that G-D is terrible out of his Holy places? The above have some remarkable properties which describe what I mentioned: a tornado can be up to a mile or more wide in the funnel, cause EXTREME DAMAGE by moving buildings from one local to another, and putting a piece of straw into the bark of a tree without the damaging it! A hurricane is extremely violent on the outside, and calm and peaceful at the center - demonstrating the notion that G- D it's terrible out of his Holy places!
On the point of - WE HAVE TO GET ALONG - it's not enough to smile, sing, hug, and dance together, you need to truly respect everyone's point of view even if you don't agree! IOW, even if, and ESPECIALLY, if the individual does not follow YOUR PROTOCOL, or have your knowledge and training, you should still respect that he has done his due diligence and is trying to correctly teach you something! DON'T make the mistake of asking: Who are you? What do you know? And what right do you have to an opinion on this subject? Realize that when a person says: I think . . In my opinion ... And, in my view... They are transmitting knowledge - to the best of their ability - and that should be acknowledged as such . Keep in mind also, that just as you cannot and should not differentiate between mitzvahs, so you should not differentiate between one part of the Torah and another.
When you say that there is NOTHING OUTSIDE of the Creator Himself - perhaps G-D illustrates this by creating a world in which there is - YOU - and everything else! But, the point seems to be, that even this OTHERNESS is still YOUR perception - which is part of YOU! You gain an interesting perspective in the Succah, where you are surrounded by and IMMEDIATE ENVIRONMENT that promotes sense of ONENESS with the YOU that you constantly, are aware of! IOW, you gain a realistic perspective of what it says: that G-D made a world, and put it in your heart - and then put YOU in that world!
Nope, it's all God-made, and can be seen as a consequence of natural laws and the status of man in creation. The more we sin the more we suffer. If you say our actions result in our punishment I suppose in a manner of speaking we do "control" the weather in that HaShem responds with bad weather but He creates it, and gave us free choice to sin or not
I’ve e been thinking about this very thing. I think even if governments are messing with the atmosphere/weather, in reality this is Hashem. There is only Hashem and nothing happens without His approval. Ein od milvado
@@Whoisager it's perhaps also a test of our emunah. Do we believe there is any force other than HaShem with any power? That was Adam the first man's sin. He fell for the lie/ argument that the tree had power and that is where God derived his power
There is no technology to create tornadoes and hurricanes. You have zero concept as to how much energy is required to create one. Just to stop a tornado it would require a nuclear bomb. The only thing people can do is cloud seeding but it’s insignificant and only works if atmospheric conditions are favourable to begin with.
Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach, is the light of the World. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God whose name was John. He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God-children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. He is your Messiah. Amen.

This has been observed multiple times. Large wedge tornadoes have an eye that’s quite a bit calmer than the outer bands of the tornado.
Thank you Rabbi
