Hallo Friends, i am from Berlin/Germany. Your Video is soo cool ... there are lots of problems, but you 4 guys stay so cool!!! I wish you all the best for next kilometers 👍👍👍👍
I'm all for going for it, but I still have a hard time understanding how you left with bikes not at all in running order and in poor shape!!!! They must have been running when you left, but the SWM can not have seen a shop in some time. That being said, I commend you for the courage and regret that you did not get more out of such a nice place to ride.
At least with the continuing brakedowns, you all stayed together. Sal and myself were abandoned in the Grand Tetons National Park. The parting words, as I remember, were see you tonight if you make it. You use a phrase We have to crack on, I made a video back in 1994 About Seven States and Sturgis. Titled ( The Ten Minute Rally cause we had to crack on. Great vlogging as usual.
How are the nights overthere currently ? Cold with rain ? A few days ago i should have take of with the bike. But the weather is a bit horrible. Wanted to go to Kalarne. Stay a few days overthere and do some riding around there in nature. But to be honest i hate it to be constantly in the rain. Setting up the tent in the rain. Constantly battling with your rainsuit. After two hours wearing raingear you still get wet but from your own damp. Maybe changing directions towards Tjechië. My tires are bad in the wet stuff. But just invested in a new bike. So putting 600.00 Euro's under it has to wait until the stock ones are gone. But to be honest. When i see you guys riding. Ohw, it is aching for sure.👍👍 Great vid quality btw. I know a great bike for your friend. A Kove 450R. So sad that life is so expensive otherwise i would have bought thar Kove also. Quitted my job and be heading of to China. A dream is a dream. But you guys are also furfilling a dream. Although it is a wetdream.🙈 Nice to see that you are all comrades. And stick together.💪💪 Have fun and safe travels. And thanks for the name of those shelter. It was ..... 🙄🙄😁😁 Been trying for almost 15 minutes te get that word in my brain. 🙈🙈🙈
KTMs are not particularly reliable in the grand scheme of things, but compared to that CCM Oh boy! Any half decent adv or enduro bike should be able to do the TET Sweden with no trouble at all. Your only worry ought to be a puncture. I am amazed that a company like CCM is in existence in a world that also contains those weirdly obsessive people of Japan.
Hi, its a great trip through the landscapes of sweden. But, in what time of the year did the trip happen? Excelly was it in juli? Thanks for answering already! Best regards from Holland!
cool. How did the KTM's hold up on the trip? I've got two ktm's in my garage. one 390 Adventure and i put it up for sale and bought a 300 EXC tpi 2-stroke. But nobody wanted to buy my adv so i'm stuck with two bikes! Luxury! But i would really love doing a trip like this with a exc instead of the adv. Was it a lot of maintenance along the way? And ofc it would be more on my two stroke than your four-strokes. Did you install a larger fueltank? How was the tyres? Cheers from Norway.
Hi @Sherco6 Many of your questions are covered in my other videos. The KTMs were fine. We both had problems with the side stands, which are not strong enough for a loaded bike with luggage. We had a couple of minor issues due to vibration on all the gravel roads, otherwise great. No worries about taking the KTM on long camping trips. We both have large (15ltr) tanks which get up 180 - 200 miles on a fill.
Brian should get a Kawasaki, I have 3 an no problems.... Get it used. Maybe take him to a bike shop and let a professional fix it. Duct tape only works so far. :) Well at least I learned to alway bring a rope with me on long voyages,
That bag solution, pure comedy 😅 nice sharing your journey

Man, I felt his pain there. I spilt my bottle of meths inside my tent one time camping on the bike. Everything was honking. Excellent trip videos.
I feel very sorry for you but you were very polite and all stuck together that's what mates do👍
We had a great time
Nice, this is entertainment, unpolished and honest! Actually, I was at the exact same spot along the Swedish TET on my solo trip last year.

Loving this, very good.
I wonder if tie-down straps will ever be invented?

The 450 motor is a Husky motor and the starter should have been available from a husky dealer in Sweden.
Its a BMW motor
@@offthetarmac4884 they are all derived from Rptax engine. Which is now owned KTM

Yes it was July
Nice to take part of your adventure, "Peters Yamaha" is that a TTR600?
Yes. great bike.

What I’m taking away from this is never road trip with a CCM 😅
😁
Old husqvarna at its best ... omfg ... btw old ktm´s are the same lol
That's a dangerous way to pull a bike. Right peg to left peg is the correct sequence.
Which is exactly what we were doing. Look again. We are not newbies at this game.
@@offthetarmac4884 I see right to right, with the rope going over the front tire occasionally
Anyway, beautiful ride even with those issues
That poor guy. I think it's time to buy a ........ Honda?
Sorry Si, couldn't bring my self to say KTM 😂
I'm beginning to think Ccm is not fit for purpose. As in poor manufacturing.
It's certainly not a good advert for CCM
Or the manufacturer of the starter motor!
The engine is not made by CCM it is a Husqvarna TE449 engine. CCM just use that engine in their bike, the starter would be husky too
Some people couldn't do that trip without a full back up vehicle with hotel accommodation.

You have no horn on your bike? 2nd time you try to shout...
Have you ever heard the horn on a KTM? No? That's why I shouted.
@@offthetarmac4884 I though all road legal vehicles needed a horn?
Yes I have a horn.
Bryan (Brian) should smoke less and invest that money into a proper bike. ;)
I'll tell him! 😁
Just buy a new bike in Sweden. It will be easier for all of you.
But it would be less fun.
