Put from graphics, quality, put all settings to medium and then x8 anisotropic, enable dlss frame generation if you got it and enjoy smooth gaming with fancy looking graphics, you are welcome
this does significantly increase my fps. i went from 80 ~ 88 to 140 ~ 144 which was my intended fps. thanks alot. btw do remember to update this comment if you found even nicer looking while maintaining the graphics! Thanks once again! Edit: when stuff are happening it drops to around 100fps feelsbad
@@Kephren I tried it....then my entire game went minecraft mode LOL. All pixelated to the point I cant make anything out. I think I will just revert all changes and try one thing at a time. TY for trying to help tho ;)
try reversing your steps and see which setting causes the flickering. also try swapping your DirectX version. and what gpu are you using? also make sure you have HDR disabled
@@Purpelxd I did some of that. Flickering mostly gone, I do notice it sometimes...my gpu is geforce rtx 4080. My fan on my computer runnin overtime with this game... lol
@dreamforever3749 yeah game is rough. Make sure your drivers are updated and once your in the game you can click alt Z and nvidia experiance menu should pop up, turn on performance analytics and check the temp of the gpu it might be overheating it will also show you cpu and gpu utilization
@@chrisenkil It has improved but my frames are still bouncing up and down, you should be getting a lot of frames with the 40 series frame generation, I wish I could get that boost. Hope you can figure something out that works better
@@chrisenkil Crazy even with such good hardware that the fps tanks like that, I’d try setting the player count to low in the world bosses for sure and see if it helps at all, and maybe mess with the DLSS settings and see if you get any increases, some videos just flat out say to run ultra performance DLSS and lock your frames at 60 for large scale fights but 60 fps seems so dog water idk especially to have to default to it for large scale
@@chrisenkil try checking off the large scale optimization setting and see if it’s any better too, not sure if that helps or makes it worse since I haven’t been to any large scale yet
I have a 4070 and use frame gen in other games but i cant select it on this game, any ideas? Figured it out you cant run "apply HDR" + frame gen at same time.
@@Hi_im_Chad give it a few minutes, the game has to basically re load all the new lower shaders, thats why it's tanking at first but after a little bit (i've experienced anywhere between 2-10 mins) it will stabilize
just restart the game and it will do the trick. For me it does the trick. I think this is due to shader preloading setting which require a restart of the game
Power management mode don't use normal, better maximum performance if you have lags stuttering in games just change from normal to maximum performance and in 90% games this fix lag and stuttering
the problem is he's telling you to lower settings that causes higher-end pcs to render inefficiently and starts using your cpu instead of your gpu. if you can play on epic then you should play on epic because the game is optimized to play better on better systems. I also get way lower fps on low settings than on epic settings. people just gotta break out of this old way of thinking that lower settings = better fps because it's not true for modern games.
the nvidia control panel steps were massive
Super important

thank you!!

Power Management Mode, put on maximum performance. It'll boost your FPS and keep the game stable like crazy. Especially if you're on an older card

disable hdr
should test at town and see result

exact same problem. as soon as I drop to lower settings then epic my fps tanks

all these settings do is maybe a 5 fps difference. the only big one is frame gen which is just 2x frames
lol ... I was going through changing settings like he 'suggested' ... and it Crashed... smh
Good video.
your view distance was epic then you accidentally changed it?
some settings get reconfigured for no reason
Xe Super Sampling looks much better to me in this game. DLSS has a lot of ghosting when moving that doesn't happen in Xe.

Boosted my fps in the world by like 30 and stopped stuttering. Fantastic
110 FPS in city with all low, 70-80 with your settings. Can you do one just for pure FPS gain?
Just set all to minimum, done
bruh i lost 20 fps doing the same exact this video tells me to do and my settings were on epic before hahahaha

the point is to people with garbage pc still be able to play this game, are u dumb?
