    So as its been noted, when you have experience, you can lay that gravel down the driveway as thick as you'd like it. 3", 4", 6"... just set your tailgate chains, which your boy didn't, and control depth w speed. Too easy. When i do it, you dont need a tractor and you can barely see where one load stops and the next load starts.😁😎

    Boxblade for the tractor would have help you save a lot, and be useful in the longterm.

    That is the worse tailgating of stone along a driveway I have seen. Must have been a new driver. The experienced drivers can lay down a fairly consistent layer until the truck is empty.

      @@GenerationAcresFarm I don't know. I prefer a paved road. Gravel roads are noisy and the rocks get stuck in my tire tread.

    Beautiful driveway. When you say $10 to $15 a foot. Is that linear foot or square foot? How wide was your driveway?

      Good question, I’ll ask Scott

    • @swany65
      @swany65 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      $15,000 for linear. $120,000 for SF. (assuming 8ft wide). Answer: It's linear.

    How is this DIY when you hired it out? You just rolled out the underlayment…

      We hired someone to operate the machinery but we did everything else ourselves and we orchestrated the whole thing.
