Just hit Luekens yesterday that EH Taylor Single B was $200 and it’s a Luekens store pick. I probably should’ve grabbed it but had already bought some bottles and didn’t think I had room in the suitcase.
Nice! That’s not too bad for Luekens but still a bit pricey. I know how it feels when you see a bottle you want but don’t have room in your luggage. Thanks for watching! Cheers 🥃
Cheers m8! I buy from Lueken's a lot, in fact I have a Lueken's care package coming tomorrow that includes one of those Stagg's. Sure, they're a bit expensive, but I weight the option of driving up out of the islands to try to find it cheaper on the mainland or just buy there and have it shipped to my door. The later usually wins out.
Hey brother, thanks for watching! I get what you are saying. In your case it’s convenient since you don’t find them in the keys. If it works for you then right on man! Cheers and enjoy that care package 🥃
Nice selection Carlos. Evan Williams Heroes Edition was $22 by me. Very cool seeing all those Joseph Magnus Cigar Blends just sitting on the shelf. I have the Savage & Cooke Guero 17 Year Bourbon and the Lil Guero 7 Year Bourbon and they are both good. I believe I just hand delivered the 17 Year to you to try. They are expensive, but I got them discounted. I believe I paid $99 for the Penelope Light Whiskey. I paid $229 for the Angels Envy Cask Strength and it is not worth that.
Hey Dave, thank you for watching! It’s cool to see what the prices are in different places. You see better prices in your neck of the woods though. I agree on that AE cask, it’s not worth that. Thank you so much for the samples. You are awesome! Cheers 🥃
That store has great selections! I saw the Penelope 15 yr going for $150 and I got it for $100. Man that's crazy to see that many Joseph Magnus sitting on the shelf. Bro., got excited to see that Natterjack and all thanks to RJ and Drizo. Sucks I can't find it at all in Cali, other wise I would have boughten one. Great content as usual Carlos and cheers!
I see a few bottles I would like to get my hands on! Penelope-American Light Whiskey 15 year for sure. That 1783 American Hero edition. I’d buy that Charles Goodnight just for the bottle design. I hit 4 stores yesterday and they all had JoMag on the shelves for 200-280.
The Scotch had some good bottles, Glen Scotia 15 and Victoriana in particular. Glendronach. Glen Grant 15. Skip Heavy Vapors. Glenmo Tokyo is $99 everywhere here.
Nice selections there, never seen that much cigar blend and definitely cheapest I have ever seen it. I was close to getting that Jimmy Red but their site says aged a minimum of 2 yrs so for $90 i passed.
Friends don't let friends shop at Leukens. They are OK for wines and maybe typical bourbon, but most of the time their prices are outrageous on anything allocated with everything market up WAY over MSRP, like not even reasonably close. Do not shop at this chain. Magun cigar blend at $210 is not a "great price". Kenny's and Star Liquor recently (Aug 2024) had them for $180.
Yea they are usually not good but you do find some things worth the trip. For example they have the 13th colony 15 year at a better price (msrp) than other stores. By no means am I saying their allocated pricing is good, because we all know that is horrible but they have some things every now and then that you could buy. The Joseph Magnus cb was not a bad price at that time compared to other places at $300. Kenny’s and star just recently in the last week had those jmcb at that $159 price which is amazing and much better if you were able to get one. Thanks for watching! Cheers 🥃
Luekins seems very strange to me living in upstate NY. Wouldn’t expect them to have some of the stuff they and as regularly as they have it . And yea the prices vary…In the past month I’ve seen the 13th colony anniversary, jack 10/12, eh Taylor single barrel, new orphan barrel, Magnus, Blantons gold, etc …most of those don’t hit here allocation or not…and if they do there’s like one
Hey Carlos, I get the Evan Williams American Hero Edition for $22.99 at my local Winn Dixie! 🥃😎P.S Agree, some good deals to be had as long as you know your prices. Caveat Emptor!

I always find these types of videos interesting. Fun to see what's available out of my normal hunting grounds.
The NatterJack CS is really good. That’s also a great price. It’s $95 around me

150$ for Penelope light whiskey! They have some of the worst prices in town….
Got a JMCB for $185 yesterday.
The Redbreast PX is excellent
That’s a good price on the cigar blend, that’s the same price I got my last two. I agree the redbreast PX is a great pour. Cheers 🥃
@whiskey Corner. which Luekens Wine & Spirits did you go to?
Hey Josh! I went to the one on Dale Mabry in Tampa. cheers brother 🥃
Nice selections there, never seen that much cigar blend and definitely cheapest I have ever seen it. I was close to getting that Jimmy Red but their site says aged a minimum of 2 yrs so for $90 i passed.
The Dunedin and Tarpon stores have better selections. Some prices don’t make sense but they always have deals on other bottles
Hey man, thanks for watching! I haven’t been to those locations yet but will make it out there sometime. Thanks for sharing! Cheers 🥃

Evan Williams 1783 is $20 at total wine. That is a terrible price.
That was the 1.75 ltr, the 750 is $20 there but didn’t have any on the shelf.
Go Bucs!!!
Just paid $99 for that Penelope light whiskey today. 150 there Also got a JD 10 for $85 last week🤦🏼♂️

Oh, and they take the time to list them on the website too. Even crazier.

It’s the 1.75 bottle
@@Nole1992 Makes sense, didn’t catch that
That store has a nice selection but nothing special as far as pricing for the allocated stuff.
The flavored stuff that nobody cares about 😂😂😂
I may have mentioned what Savage & Cooke is (wine finishes), but that was not a recommendation of it. That's not a bottle I buy.
I have the Savage & Cooke Guero 17 Year Bourbon and the Lil Guero 7 Year Bourbon. Like them both. Kind of expensive, but I got them on discount. 🥃
JMCB for 200? I’ll take 5
Amish can drink?
Not sure, maybe they can 🤷🏽♂️
