It can be hard to find good how-to videos like this. Keep it up!

Dude!! Thank you so much for this video. I busted my oil pan and I didn't want to have to lower the subframe... this video saved me a bunch time and headaches. Cheers!!

Do you have any insight in locking the flywheel on the m20 ? Seems to be no one has a clue

Hey dude nice vid! One off topic question... i see you have the same iac valve as my car does, but it is different from the usual iac valve on bmw e30, it has two pins. I have seen 80's merecedor benz with that type of iac valve and connection, but not for e30... is it from merecedes addapted to the car? Which is the oem of that iac valve. Im stucked with this. Thanks!

You probably have an american e30 (325 es maybe?) year 85 86. Thats the official iac, i dont know why they put that because its really difficult to find. Im wondering if mercedez ones are usefull in this car. Keep me updated any info

With this support bar, could you have raised the engine higher to avoid removing the oil pump?

unfortunately no, you don’t want to raise the engine too much to prevent damaging wiring and hoses attached to it. You can pinch a few components on the firewall if you go too far up. Another option is to drop the subframe, then you won’t need to remove the oil pump.
