Again, brilliant watching you lads at this heavy work and whilst I'm never going to have to do such repairs, I would like the answer to two questions. What is the purpose of the Nylon strap and are those rubber boots solid rubber or sprung within..
I have a brand new set of these style bolsters on a truck and they are all already bulging out and ripping.any idea why? They are not the upgraded one with the bolt that holds them together
check out your upper torque rods to see if they are damaged....sometimes if they are worn it will cause the lower rubbers to wear out pre-matured. another thing to check out is the walking beam bushings and make sure they are not split....it can also cause the bolster springs to wear out early.
@@simcoespring thanks for the reply, I think I found the issue , the bottom of both frame rails are leaning out from rust jacking. (Double frame) . Which is in turn putting outward pressure on the bolsters
I have tried a few different designs. I'm not totally sure if they are better or worse yet. I do have a few suspensions out there getting tested right now
Its wild seeing how much shakes off

The strap is for when the vehicle is raised in the air. That way the rubbers dont get ripped in half.
What are the symptoms on the truck. when all what you replaced is bad. TIA 😊

Have you ever tried Atro replacement parts for the Hendrickson suspensions?

What’s the reason for those loose straps on the haulmax?
@@donmcintosh4125 travel limit straps.....glue on the rubber blocks is tough under compression but tears easily under tension.
Not familiar with this type suspension...what is the capacity (in pounds)?
I believe the most common capacity for this suspension is 46,000 LBS. or 23,000 lbs per axle.
Where I can get this job done to my truck?
Look for a local spring shop. Not sure where you are from
