    For those wondering where the people are, they are underground. Downtown Houston has an entire underground city with tunnels, shops, restaurants, banks, etc. Google search "Houston downtown tunnel system".

    There's no pedestrians because they are in the Houston tunnels to avoid the heat just look it up

      also because it's a southern city. northerners always expect the south to be like the north with urban residential density.....the south is all about the surrounding neighborhoods not the city center

    No pedestrians. No traffic. Parking lots almost empty. This was a weekend. The tunnels lead to limited buildings. To get to a specific place you may need to take more than one tunnel to get there. Anyone from Maine is familiar with the saying “You can’t get there from here.” So too are the Houston tunnels. I live in Houston.

      The people are in uptown and midtown which are the equivalent of downtown but with actual fun. The actual city centre is work related and littered with high cost hotels for the upper class and / affluent who really don't walk outside bc they know better.

    • @faithangelique200
      @faithangelique200 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Money Mike I would say down town Houston is the place to live not outside of that cause Texas isn't all that. In Houston you could either live in the really nice classy area or the ghetto trashy area there's no in between lol. Texas as a state isn't all that like I said but there are a few nice places top go visit like Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, etc...

      Money Mike yes very much their is a park called discovery green and it gets alot of activities like people running bike riding and there is a place we're you can skate!! Out side but I think it depends on the session in the video it didn't show alot of ppl because it's very hot during the summers but at other days people are very active, now at night it's a very calm place to your amazment it is all most empty with few cars but has many police officer driveing , because people speed through lights since it's very calm

      Houston. The economy is always booming in Houston. Though Dallas is a more fun city because Houston is like a business city. Also Houston weather is bi-polar and is more hot and humid than Dallas (it snows in Dallas).

    • @austintay1811
      @austintay1811 8 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      More fun? That's subjective. I preferred Houston's nightlife and food.

    • @JasnoGT
      @JasnoGT 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Both cities are awesome but Houston is Dallas' big brother and has over a million more people. Dallas is diverse and cultural but Houston is more so. So if you want more flavor go to H-Town. Traffic in both cities suck but I think Houston is worse. I prefer Dallas weather because we do get snow at least every other year.

    Ghost city? No. What most people don't realize is that Houston has an underground tunnel system, which is used by most people in the downtown area instead of walking above ground. That's why driving through the streets appears decievingly ghostlike.

    Eu acho o centro de Houston muito frio . Se vê poucas pessoas , poucos carros e prédios altos , modernos e feios . Não se vê comércio , cartazes , luminosos , igrejas , estádios , escolas , etc ... Das maiores cidades dos E.U.A. acho esta a mais feia e sem vida . San Antônio aí perto me agrada muito mais . É uma cidade depressiva em minha opinião . Para quem gosta de prédios modernos , irá gostar da cidade .

    Y bien, queridos amigos, me encuentro en la bella ciudad de Houston, acompañado por nada más y nada menos que por una bella dama que es mi novia y mi futura esposa, la estrella de la televisión mexicana, Fernanda Rivas. Estamos a bordo de un lujoso carro que alquilé para movilizarnos en ésta bella metrópoli texana, un Mercedes Benz 190E 2.6 negro de 1992, y nos dirigimos a uno de los estadios deportivos que tiene ésta ciudad, el Toyota Center, porque vamos a presenciar un juego de baloncesto de la NBA donde se enfrentan los Houston Rockets y los Sacramento Kings. Son las 3,30 de la tarde del domingo 25/12 del presente año.
