As someone who's lived in Houston for >25 years now I have to say this drone footage shows the city in its best possible light.

This is the best drone footage I've ever seen of Houston! Outstanding work!
Houston, pronounced "Hewston", 5-energy by the locals and "Huston", 7-energy by the Mexicans, is a blend of competing energies. It has chaotic highways and a "hodge podge" of building designs everywhere including downtown. There are casinos all over, a 5-energy hallmark. There is more to this but I must stop here.
Sure do miss Houston. Lived there 10 years. Awesome video

the cold in Michigan is worst than the heat in houston. Winter is 6 mos long and you cant do much outside in the bitter cold.
The best building in Houston is still One Shell. It is an elegant classic modern and meets the street better than any other. The next is the Humble. A mid century gem and the only true tower in it's heyday. Finally, the Brutalist Federal building (where I saw Muhammad Ali during his trial) rounds out the best of Houston architecture. I don't think anything afterward can compare with these three.

Earlier this year, I visited Houston for work. It was my first time in Texas. I stayed an extra day to visit NASA, take in a Rockets game, and enjoy some of the amazing cuisine. I also learned an interesting thing about the choice of "Houston" as a name for the city.
