  • When I was trying to decide on an exhaust for ZL1, I couldn't help but notice that there were basically 0 in depth videos over the Stainless Works exhaust system that didn't look like they were recorded with a potato. So I made this video for all my fellow ZL1 owners out there to help them decide if this is the exhaust for you. I opted for the full 3 inch system with high flow cats and performance connect. At the time of the recording, nothing else was done to my car besides the exhaust, so you get the true sound and nothing else. The backfires with the new exhaust are so much more louder and more often than stock. And if you stand behind the car the backfires are almost deafening! TH-cam doesn't necessarily do the exhaust justice, but a cold start with the new exhaust is so much more pronounced. I actually feel bad for my neighbors now! Recorded with my iPhone 7+.

    Thinking about getting this setup for my 1LE. You like the stainless well over stock NPP in terms of overall sound in person?

    Thanks for making this video as this is the sound that I want for my stock ZL1. Can you please direct me to the Web site to make this purchase along with exactly what I need to purchase?
    Thanks, Eric

      Redline4Kids I let the shop that installed my system buy it for me. But Stainless Works has their own website. I purchased the full 3 inch system with performance connect and high flow cats

    Did you have SW headers at the time of this recording? Does the performance connect line up with other brand headers as well? I want this exhaust with kooks headers and I’m wondering if I’ll run into any issues. I have a Black 2015 Camaro SS 1LE

    • @NobleLegendStudios
      @NobleLegendStudios  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Artie Middleton Yes I had headers at the time of this recording. And the performance connect should match up with any other exhaust as long as the connection is 3 inches in diameter as well. I think most exhausts are designed at 2.5 inches though, you’d just have to ask the companies for specifics

    Is this simply a cat-back system or a full headers exhaust system with high flow cats?Also did you have any CLE codes with the new system. Thanks

    Jonathan T Hi nice car by the way I would like to know if you change the headers or not and the exhaust on the video with tune or without
    Do you have the option to close the tips if there is cops 👮
    Thanks & regards

    • @NobleLegendStudios
      @NobleLegendStudios  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      hamid abdrabo Thankyou! At the time of this video, it was not tuned. I did change out the headers to the Stainless Works headers. And no, you can not close the tips, they are always open. But if you cruise in low RPMs the exhaust is very tame.

    Which you think better automatic or manual camaro zl1 cause I don’t no which one to get when I grow up

    • @NobleLegendStudios
      @NobleLegendStudios  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on the year and what you want in a car. For the 5th gens, manuals are faster because the transmission doesn’t lose as much power. But the automatic is more reliable. In the newer 6th gens however, the 10 speed automatic is far superior to the manual. It shifts faster than any human possibly could.

    Does your stainless works exhaust add hp? And how much did it cost you?

    • @NobleLegendStudios
      @NobleLegendStudios  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Headers added HP, catback system does not. It’s been so long I can barely remember. But with installation I think it ran me about 2,300
