This will not work me. I live on hill. The yard sloped. And i don't have outside water. I use the traditional hanging waterers that everyone else hates.
Great idea to use a cheap bucket to water your chickens that way your eggs will tastes like plastic... Food grade buckets will cost you an extra dollar

The only thing I don't like Is having to have the hose attached.
It doesn't require it... but makes a BIG difference.

Now that's funny... Most free range chickens are drinking from bacteria infested mud pools just fyi.
