  • We have tried every single chicken waterer on the planet. From store bought to home made. This by far is the best one we have ever made. It is gravity fed from a rain barrel made from a food grade barrel, into a dish with a float. Don't waste any more money on those other ideas that look good on camera but never last long. This took less than 30 minutes to build and cost us less than $100.

Thank you so much! I am a truck driver. Every animal I have will get this system. You guys are the best!! To keep the water in the bowl clean. Make square 2x4 platform covered with1/4 inch hardware cloth and place bowl in the center. Then closely encircle the bowl with fence wire that has 1 inch by 3 inch openings. This works because there feet aren’t on dirt to fling and there heads fit in well with no pooping in the water. I pray God blesses and keeps you in the upcoming times.

Love this video/info - thank you for sharing! Waiting for the metal bowls to deliver this week. I was wondering, have yall had any algae or mosquito issues develop inside the barrel? Thanks again! Casey

No. It gets a little algae. I have a cleaning video that shows how I clean once a year.
