“I can’t buy them all. I can’t own them all. But I *can* love them all.” That’s a good thing to tell oneself as a watch aficionado. Prevents impulse buying and keeps the focus on watches that one really connects with.
This watch sits unworn in my watch box from September through May. However, come summer time it's about all i wear. Have mine on an orange rubber strap and I love it.
The main issue its the movements service, that DD module on top of the movement is expensive to service. I am really hoping they release this one with the B01 movement they purchased from Breitling, then it will be a killer! One thing to consider is the chronos from Longines with column wheel, those are an unbelievable option for the watch lovers and they can pick one that has won a Grand Prix (The big eye).
This is the number one candidate that is due for a refresh in Tudors lineup. Make this in 39mm, domed sapphire and an inhouse chrono.....that's a winner indeed.
Such a fun watch that screams "I am on vacation". I loved it but parted ways with it. It was a tad on the top heavy side and found it a bit uncomfortable at times.
Awesome. I dropped this as a wish list for a Bruce review back when he did the Heritage Black Bay / gold tone review & BAM!! he's comes through. i have this on bracelet & it certainly has some wrist presence & settles both vintage & chrono itches at once w/o falling into the "flavor of the now" integrated 70's style watch.
Hi, Bruce, Can you help me to verify the crown has blue accent on the logo? My has the silver shield instead the blue outline of the logo at the crown. Also Is it a blue sticker or blue paint? Thank you!
I remember (my memory is fuzzy) that Heuer Leonidas was working in conjunction with Lemania to produce a replacement for the caliber 11, and that movement was the Lemania 5100. At one point many iof the Heuer chronographs were using the 5100. Then Lemania went to Swatch group and Tag Heuer starting using 7750's and the Dubois Depraz module. A lot of watchmakers do not like working on that module.
Love the watch, so much so I own one (and it was actually my first every "luxury" Swiss watch purchase). Great review and now I'm glad I didn't buy the OEM Nato strap a few month ago (when I bought my Tudor about 2 years ago they had just stoped including it with the bracelet for no extra charge).
Great review, Bruce. I’m thinking for a new “summer watch” of picking up this Heritage or the Longines Avigation BigEye in Petroleum (blue) and titanium. I hope you have a chance to review that at some time.
I love Tudors natos with fixed spring bars in it. I think it looks great, but its too small. I wish some companies could come up with that style of spring bars, that would help a lot.
It’s a nice watch, but given the caliber and the simplistic dial finish it’s rather too expensive for what you get. And shame on Tudor for their continued lack of half links.
Did you happen to measure the thickness yourself? I just can't imagine how a modular chronograph with 150m of water resistance can be only 13mm thick... in photos etc it just looks so thick.
Man this is such a nice piece and on my short list. Very affordable piece, I've seen a few for just under $3000. I'd love for you to find one of the old Panda Big Blocks to review.
Was looking at one last week. Very pretty, but two things. The dial looks flat in person. Difficult to explain, but can be overlooked. Second thing are the pushers. Too small. Compared to the S&G pushers, which are much beefier.
Great review. I’m thinking for a new “summer watch” of picking up this Heritage or the Longines Avigation BigEye in Petroleum (blue) and titanium. I hope you have a chance to review that at some time.
Quite possibly your best intro yet. Nice watch. It does get over looked. It's not for me, a little too much color (which is weird for me to say since I drive a Yellow RAM). I do like the lighter blue of the original a little better.
Hi Bruce. You said the strap was short. Just FYI, Tudor fabric straps are adjustable thru the buckle. Looks like you could have lengthened by a couple of centimetres there. Great channel tho, mate. Keep up the good work.
I love mine which I bought in 2020 and wear it even more often then my Panerais. But wear it with it a light grey nubuk leather strap with an folding clasp which I got from a Black Bay ,as there is no option to buy it with a leather strap.
Great watch, but I just sold mine. They did almost everything correct - except one thing. There is no AR coating, and it is really giving a barrier between you and the dial. Even in good lighting there is a kind of milky white sheen in the sapphire. I could not live with that in the end, and sold it. If a watchmaker could switch out the sapphire for a reasonable price I would be interested again.
Bruce you made my day 🙌🏻 I have this beauty currently on my wrist 😍 Unfortunately Rolex decided to not equip the new Tudors with a cyclops 😢 With a cyclops at the six it would you be over the 🔝 It is definitely a keeper in my collection 💙🧡💙 Thanks again for this great review and love your content 👊🏻
Love this watch. Have tried it on several times. it does fit even a small wrist very well. Love the feeling of a 70's speedway you still get from this new one. Not that I was ever AT a 70's speedway 😂 To be honest I'm wondering if this and it's two brother models are due for arefresh? Great review!
If they made it exactly like the original including the cyclops and put a better movement in it there would be a waiting list for the watch but as it sits it's kind of a forgotten watch.Sad because it's a great watch.
I really try to like this watch and almost bought it but when see it in person, just to much going on with colors and trying to give this vintage look where it falls short. The Black Bay Chrono for me is the watch to get if you want a Tudor chrono.
It's very cool imho- shame the Bland Bays (not the chronographs) get all the attention, they're my least favourite Tudors, this is far more exciting and original. Cheers mate 👍🏻👍🏻
This is a weird watch. It’s got personality for sure I’ll say that. I think it belongs at a marina hanging out with the yachts during the annual regatta
Date font, size, alignment looks off from the other numerals on the watch. I agree with the dial coloration not matching the date dial. This is a hard pass, to me you can't charge 4K for this piss poor quality from a house associated with Rolex.

Loved this watch when I had it.

This piece gives off those 70’s racing vibes. Great macro shots in this video Bruce.
I don't think I will ever buy one but you have put this watch on my radar and I thank you for it!

Thank you. Your comment was quite helpful.
The tudor with the u hand sign would make a cool shirt!
Another fantastic review Bruce! Loved the intro.
If they update the movement same as the one they use in Black bay chrono, I am totally buying that....
Had the home plate grey dial version and it is a gem to cherish and enjoy
I've been eyeing this Heritage Chrono version for a while...one day..one day...till then....I call it...the NY Mets Tudor watch....
This is such a cool watch. I've been tempted several times over the past few years to pick one up. Love the blue and orange; very 70's aesthetic.
Agree 100%

Great video as always Bruce, love the intro.. thanks from the UK.
How much does your wrist measure in circumference?
Thank you
I've just accepted the fact that I'm a Seiko and Tudor guy.
Awesome comment
As a Mets fan, love the colors!
excellent choice!
This is the watch that turned things around for Chewdah.
Nice video, Bruce, thanks. Buddy at work tried one on when we were out at lunch. Really stood out, but yeah kind of liked it.

Very cool and fun piece that is as you say, overlooked. Great video Bruce 👏
You should try to get your hands on a Longines Spirit Chronograph to review.
The bracelet is so nice it takes it another level / superb watch
The Oysterdate is the best-looking Tudor I've ever seen. I would buy that Heritage piece before a Black Bay or a Pelagos any day of the week.
I’d love to see you review the Tudor Heritage Advisor. The watch is so unique the content writes itself.
Awesome Chrono. I fell in love with the Tiger version and if I remember it also has a cyclops at the 3?. Not sure.
I prefer the tiger chrono
Hi, Bruce, Can you help me to verify the crown has blue accent on the logo? My has the silver shield instead the blue outline of the logo at the crown. Also Is it a blue sticker or blue paint? Thank you!
Own it and love it.
Super cool the intro and this watch 👌
Wonderful

I so wanted to like this watch - tried it on and it was too big for my proportions - ended up with a Black Bay 58 :)
BB58 is such a great size
Great review, Bruce. I’m thinking for a new “summer watch” of picking up this Heritage or the Longines Avigation BigEye in Petroleum (blue) and titanium. I hope you have a chance to review that at some time.
There is a mint condition goes for $2500 good deal?
Awesome intro
I love how every watch goes from over hyped to overlooked...
Lots of overhyped and overlooked watches out there
@@BruceWilliams absolutely Keep us in the loop!

I was so close to getting one in 2019. Now I regret not going for it... Thanks Bruce!! (No sarcasm: Thanks, it's on the Radar again!)
lol
thx
Bruce, why does Tudor favor an only 45 minute chrono?
Aesthetics if I had to guess.
I thought they discontinued this piece.
Did you happen to measure the thickness yourself? I just can't imagine how a modular chronograph with 150m of water resistance can be only 13mm thick... in photos etc it just looks so thick.
Lovely watch and great review! Any Tudor predictions for 7th of April Bruce?
Shoot I wish I knew. I'm so excited. I think Tudor will impress this year

@@scott8129 also have a look at the Hamilton Intra Matic. About half the price of this one. Bit smaller and thicker, but looks pretty good.
@@waterzap99 thanks. That is on the list, too. Likely the blue dial but possibly the white. Also considering the Bell & Ross Racing Bird chrono.

I love mine and I still have it. 😉
Only have Tudor BB58, which they’ll make more 38-40mm watches. 40 pelagos, 40 BB chrono, 40 chrono heritage and I’ll buy for sure !
I love mine which I bought in 2020 and wear it even more often then my Panerais. But wear it with it a light grey nubuk leather strap with an folding clasp which I got from a Black Bay ,as there is no option to buy it with a leather strap.

Most Rolex and Tudor will not have any ARC. They rarely use it

Rolex doesn't decide what goes on a Tudor
It’s a funky piece but rather get the BB Chrono SG with B01 movement.
So would I
@@BruceWilliams I agree but 2000 pounds more....I'm not sure about that

One of the few watches that I prefer on nato than bracelet, but ultimately a watch I’ll pass on.
...and its guly!
