Yes, the engine in the 901 is in the rear, just like all 911s. But the fuel cap is actually on the left front fender. But yeah, the 901 and the RS 2.7 together are awesome bro. Really been loving these classic Porsches lately!
Got both of these. Love 'em. Hopefully they release more stripe colors for the Carrera. Porsche was going to release the 911 as the 901 but Peugeot used that numbering on their cars with the 0 in the middle, so Porsche changed it to 911 to appease Peugeot. 👍
@Booster_Diecast yes,funny that Porsche made a 904,906,and908. I don't think Peugeot objected to that. Maybe because they were race cars and not regular production cars in competition with Peugeots street models.
