Simple: BBs kid coaches defense: so defensive players were emphasizing in the draft.

I don’t get the argument for Bill O’Brian. Supposedly Kraft brought him back to run the offense, but O’Brian didn’t ask for anything to do so? If it was important to have his own assistances, why would you not make that a condition for you to accept the job? O’Brian is the most accomplished and has the best resume of the assistant coaches. He could have easily said at Alabama and waited for a college head coaching job. If the Pats job was such a bad situation, why would he take it without getting what he wanted? No one in the media is calling out O’Brian for how bad this offense is. Yes the talent is bad, but he took over for a guy that never coached offense and O’Brian’s offense is worse! How is that even possible?

Because the media around here all like O’Brien so they coddle him.

@@jayy88 I can’t blame them for liking him. I personally enjoy his press conference and like hearing someone answer questions, but he was brought in to improve the offense, nothing gotten better. How can no one be asking if they are heading in the right direction offensively? They are one, if not the worst offenses in the league, and it sounds like it’s a forgotten conclusion he’s coming back for year 2. It’s just really bad reporting by the NE media. No one’s going to even discuss it or bring it up?

@@ayalave75 they don’t do it because they like him. Look at the heat Belichick gets or even Mayo, Judge, Accord, Clem all get trashed. Somehow O’Brien gets a pass while doing the worst job in the league as an OC.

This is what I thought was going on behind closed doors. Brady covered up all the warts. When Brady left , things started to unravel. Watching Belichick's Press Conferences, would tell alot if you actually watched his demeanor. Condescending, dismissive, arrogant. Who would bench Malcolm Butler in the Super Bowl? One coach, Belichick. He tried to run Brady out of town within a year of drafting Jimmy G. He thought Gilmore was washed and wouldn't resign him. The drafting, the free agent signings, he's a great defensive coach, he's got 6 rings , thanks to Brady in large part. Give him his golden handshake and a free Dale Carnegie course and say ustalavista baby. NEXT!!

Zolack and Reiss are pathetic! The pandering that they both do for BB and Kraft is fireable offense.

After this, they have to go scorched earth, regardless of Bill's future. The whole team is swarming with cliques throwing blame at each other, from Mayo to Mac

It’s crazy that everyone and I mean everyone was questioning Belichick with his decisions for a few years now and now it’s reported that everyone in the organization is questioning him. I don’t feel bad at all when some fans says that I’m not a real fan because I don’t stand behind the Head Coach. Heck no I’m not when he be making dumb decisions and he wanted Matt P back? Naw fam and didn’t let BOB bring in his guys to help the offense. Belichick needs to GO now

What’s crazy about Klemm part of the story is that the O line was playing its best football of the year right before he left! There’s been regression since he’s left!

"I can't think for myself so I assume that everyone else's opinions are similarly formulated strictly based on what people on the radio and TH-cam say, including Robert Kraft and all other people who are way more intelligent and successful than me."

    • @georgen5882

Yeah I don’t see why people are blaming the media. If this is the media’s fault, then so are the two lost super bowls to the giants, the loss to the eagles and the weird timing to not play a player that played 97% of the defensive snaps during the regular season, the poor offensive draft history in the last 10-12 years, the lack of real identity and focus, the three offensive coordinators in three years. Gee, what else? Media definitely didn’t want to resign Brady to a contract, that’s also on them. Might as well blame spygate and deflategate on them while we are at it, even though I am of the opinion that neither were nearly as bad as the “media” made it out to be. Just sell the team to all the media personalities who want a slice and let them run the team. I think that’s a great idea to fix this.

    • @Rucarlos

They were lusting for Brady's blood too. 2 years and another Brady SB later they turned around and blamed Bill and Kraft. Guess we'll know what's gonna happen
