Dear All, some of you seem to think that I shouldn't honestly express how frustrated I am with clearly and deliberately incomplete video titles and thumnails that make you click to find out more, or openly lead you in with empty promises of EXORBITANTLY HIGH ilevel gains in limited time - to be clear: THIS IS WHAT I CALL CLICKBAIT, and no, I don't think my video is exactly the same yada yada, please spare me the lecture and try and level with me here. Or not. Thanks for stopping by anyway.
If you fill 3 vault slots with lfr and m+2 or whatever you can do, you can chose the 6 tokens of merit, buy 3 wyrm crests at the vendor next to the vault and craft enchanted wyrm crests for crafting gear ilvl 424-437.
Thanks for a non-BS gearing video! I just got back into the game after like 5 years break and I'm REALLY looking forward to pushing m+ as far as I can go! Super helpful to pick up, I've already accumulated 398 ilvl in a week or so of LFR/pugs/weeklies!
First : thing I agree with you : good job to call out 90% of those bullshit “wow content creators” on TH-cam. Then, thing I want to add, other than your new weekly world quest in Loamm will give you a 402 gear, you should also do the digging mini game, usually you will at least get 2 chances (sometime you will get 3) to play the digging games, out of the 6 characters I did so far, all of them were getting their second piece of 402 gear there, so this is a must to do thing. Also, if your goal is to look for 395 gears, here is a trick you will hear first ever on the internet. Go back to forbidden beach, but before you go there, visit AH and buy some of those cheap items that you can summon professional rares, usually the minning one cost about 22G, then fishing and herb and engineering and also enchanting should all cost under 80-100G, buy 5-6 different kinds and that will complete a perfect route of killing 6 rares within 8-10 minutes and then they will respawn again, those rares are extremely easy to kill, you will get drop from each kills for at least 80-300G of mats (especially the enchant rare, you will get garanteed mats everytime of 1 epic + 2 rare + 3 normal) , spend about 3 hours there, you will get a full set of 395 and 90-100 keys and mats worth lots of gold, get a friend or two to go with you so you can exchange with them to speed up the process.
HUH, very interesting with the method you're describing for rares hunting, I never considered that and should definitely try it. thank you very much firstly for a positive comment, and secondly - for making it actually useful!
@@YourAverageG AH is Auction House, it is located in bit capital cities like Valdrakken and Stormwind/Ogrimmar, you can buy and sell a lot of different items there, if you cant find it ask a guard NPC for directions or look for an icon on the minimap. Happy auctioning!

If you are having a tough time with upgrades as a solo player, you can use Enchanted Whelping Crests with the Blue Crafted gear recipes to make 408 gear at max quality. You can't upgrade but you can choose your preferred stats and save flight stones/time.
there is also a quest in valdrakken to do 5 heroic dungeons and you get a 415 ilvl item out of the chest when you choose it over the crest, hope that helps :)
@@GyrotexGaming I’m with you. I’m a boat salesman, so anytime I can be on the lot or infront of customers at a weekend display I’m there. So midnight gaming is what I’m about. And def needed this guide.
Also, the low level crests that you can use to upgrade your 402 gear will no longer be useful once your gear reach 411, to go above that, you will need to use the upper grade of crest.
I´m more of a "semi-hardcore" player, pushing +25 keys, doing HC raid clears with Mythic progressions and always been every season. I can hands down say to ya'all scrolling down the comments, listen to this guy. Don't get click-baited. This video is more realistic to the 65% player-base. I would although recommend (HIGHLY) atleast do some 2-10 keys whatever fits your skill, especially with the nerfs etc. Even YOU can do better than LFR gear.
The public events reward effort put in, so purple does drop but rarely, as it depends on who else is there and how much effort. More importantly the public event gives 25 rep, so if you are pushing rep then they are worth doing, especially with 10% bonus from Darkmoon.
Finally a video that cuts out all the fucking bullshit, not really a casual myself but most of my friends are this is the perfect video to help them out
Liked & Subbed for getting straight to the point! As a casual this is perfect for me! I play for story & I don't care about the so called Endgame! I really hate RNG just like you! I never have good luck with RNG! Great vid, keep up the good work!
You go into Zskera vault, there's a ring on the floor with an exclamation mark of a quest - to pick up. You take it back to the village and one of dracthyr dudes there gives you a ring
For the public events, I too have noticed that when it shows a purple quality reward I’d get a blue quality instead. But I also notice that it works the other way too, there have been times it showed a blue quality reward but then I end up getting a purple reward instead.
Hmm interesting, I never noticed the other way round, and someone else said that the color of reward depends on the amount of contribution you put towards the event, i.e. if you've done a major part of it - you get a purple. But I'm not convinced the system is that advanced, to be honest, I think it's just a little bug they need to iron out, as with a ton of other little missing bits.
but how do u upgrade the "explorer" to the "adventurer" levels? ... i saw explorer going to max 398, and adventurer being another item altogether, having a new upgrade steps, not the same item though
I understand that the base "roll" on the item that drops needs to allow for those further upgrades, i.e. you could be in the range of explorer with only 8 levels of upgrade, or have a higher baseline straight up and have an opportunity to raise the gear higher - but that's purely from my own observations, not official or cross-checked information. I'll have a follow-up clarification video soon.
You mention guides that say you can obtain gear at 450 ilvl but they are targeted at pvp gearing, in which you can use trophies of conquest to craft gear at 450. I do not see how this is clickbait. Both the Skillcapped guide and the EzgameL video in your dissection of other "clickbait" videos are aimed at pvp gearing, a completely different playing field then what you are talking about
Good to hear, thanks. It's a broad statement, not targeted at specific ones that do refer to PvP. I don't care about PvP. I'm talking mostly about 435-445 promises
Oouf 2nd cloak is annoying but imagine getting a polearm on a BM hunter...Damn game! (has made me tempted to try survival mind you lol but I like my hunter ranged)
Appreciate your honesty compared to all the other gearing guides. Personally I’m not very happy with the patch in general. The cartoon mole people are annoying, the lore is all but absent, too much RNG, too many currency types to track, and all the content feels recycled. There is just no challenge here. Even M+ is a recycled grind too. It’s all busy work.
Thanks for sharing your view - I'm too old to expect everyone to feel the same, so I'm keen to hear what others think about the patch... I personally think us playing WoW by definition means that we bought into this "busy work" design of a theme park style game, which I'm mostly ok with, as long as there's variety of content and relative frequency of patches for me to fill my downtime with. So, 10.1 is not mind-blowing, but it's pretty good in my view (so far).

Guys since when we've been able to create gnome hunters?!??!?! Have I just been blind before and never noticed them?!?!? I gotta faction change my hunter.
After you've already obtained a purple satchel, you only get blue satchels. This is similar to Nokhud hunts. Blue satchels from random events are still plenty useful: the coins you get can then be turned in at one of the NPCs in Loamm in order to get 2 drake and 2 whelpling crests (in fact, 30 fragments of each) every week, to help you get your 150 frag/week cap faster/easier. That's ontop of anything else they might give you like random gear, gold and whatnot :) This is my first time on the channel, was curious to see what your approach would be to gearing, and where the casual players people stand on current content, but the beginning leaves a completely sour taste. Thanks for commenting, appreciate it, also for being civil. I don't "hate", I get annoyed and sick of people posting thumbnails saying "YOU GOT TO SEE THIS", or "GET 445 GEAR NOW!" that's click bait. You're right - I talk about the content I want to run but I also advertise what I offer very openly. Which is fundamentally different from those deliberately INCOMPLETE titles or promises of something majority of those clickers will never get. Sorry that you think it all tastes or looks the same.
