Hello! Thank you so much for your videos. I have one question: how do I know what to teach to my student according to genre analysis? Should i teach structure? Introduction, conjunctions? What to teach? I'm confused. Moreover, is it done in onle lesson, for example if lesson is one hour? Thanks in advance.
Usually a genre analysis is a term that we use in writing lessons and it can cover one or all of the following: content, lexis, layout, organisation, grammar and style. Usually useful language is used as a term in speaking lessons and as the name tells it covers only language: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation or function
