Excellent review. Thanks for confirming that it will fit my Glock 17. That’s what I needed to know. New sub here.

Interesting, I will look the presentation for the Helikon-Tex you published after (but not the Numbat, that I have and I like but probably different for usage)
I was just at one of their stores to see this in person and the not all the straps are removable. Only the sides are removable and the two top ones are permanent, not removable. I double checked with the manager and he confirmed the top ones are not removable, so you’re stuck with the entire harness system when using this is as belt pack.
I personally would be very interested to see a similar product from Savotta or Sarma/Varustelika when/if they make one :) It would certainly be a very sturdy, functional and worth purchasing product
I'm not sure either do a chest rig style pack like this... However, I'll definitely take a lock. I know Savotta just confirmed they're making two very nice looking waist packs. Leave it with me 🤙
Strictly speaking no. Not with the current harness. You could totally jerry rig something to make it work however you'd have to make your own adaption to the harness. If you had an assault pack with a harness you could make it work. Hope that helps 🤙
Hmmmm... 8 can't find that either. I'm a 46 to 48" chest and there's still plenty of room left in the webbing to expand further. They can be worn over a jacket so they're pretty roomy. Hope that helps 🤙
I’m Vietnamese and I work with people that make 5.11 backpacks, clothings. In recent years they switched to CHINESE materials in their pack and footwear lines so that is why the webbing is flimsy(because they are horrible and definitely NOT mil-spec my friend). I suggest stay away from 5.11 packs and shoes.
Only things worth buying is their clothings which i’m selling in vietnam, if you go to my country let me know i will hit you up with mind blowing price.
@@MoorlanderEDC oh the Edge Chino 2.0 spoiler: they are trash the design is horrible, 5.11 is getting rid of them and stay the 1.0(which i have like 8 pairs 😂).

Hey buddy. That's the Helikon Tex Mistral anorak. Very similar to the Woodsman Anorak - th-cam.com/video/_RCylluxwHA/w-d-xo.html
what is the model of rucksack you mentioned at 12:40?
HI, thanks for watching. That is the Mystery Ranch 2 Day Assault pack. Brilliant backpack

They are removable . I just bought one . Although the strap themselves are removable , you are stuck with the plastic hoops the strap weaves through .

You highly recommend this one..?
Hey, what is the name of the patch you have inside it
The pistol mag patch? That's from Tasmanian Tiger
Is it possible to have another pouch on the back of the harness?

What chest size does this fit , I can’t find the info online 😮

Thanks for that buddy 👍 I’m a 48 chest so will order one right now 😎

Rabid Badgers? What about a large wooden badger?
They're a nuisance too 😂
Is the molle functional?
Yes, you can attach whatever you need to the front as long as it fits the ladder row/columns. It's just laser cut PALs webbing

Thanks for the heads up. I know they had some quality control issues a few years back 🤙

@@silkplayer9that's a deal 🤜🤛 always after gear to review and save a penny or two. Weirdly I'd been looking at the 5.11 chino 2.0s 🤣
