New Years Eve is always a busy time for ride-sharing companies like Lyft and Uber. This NYE, you might just end up with a celebrity as your driver. Lyft co-founder John Zimmer has spent every New Year's Eve driving for the company to get a firsthand understanding of the driver and customer experience. While Lyft has mostly lived in Uber's shadow since founding in 2012, Zimmer is determined to make Lyft faster, cheaper and more efficient.
