I love you guys!!! You guys Keep people safe and I bet you guys saved people in thousands with these body armor!!! It is truly a blessing to do good keep up the great work.
I just ordered the Spartan Armor Level lV Ceramic plates that were on sale... Been waiting for this sale since I missed out on the last sale. Waiting on delivery and will do review, heard good reviews with Spartan Armor.
British boi About $300 the sale should come back around maybe black friday or the next major holiday. Right now their $350 plus tax for level 4 ceramic stopping 30.06
Great video just started researching armor. Really like what I am seeing with your lvl 4. I will be buying from you all soon. Any specials going on? What about leg and arm armor ?
Hi Samuel, You are correct! Currently there is no NIJ Level III+ it's just an industry term that it will defeat Level III rounds plus special threats M855, XM193, Etc. Hope this helps.
This video states the level 3+ plate can stop 6 shots of .556 at 3000 fps, the website states 3100 fps, and a video by iraqveteran8888 stopped m193 moving at nearly 3300 fps. Which one is the most accurate? There's a lot of difference in 300fps. Just curious.
Michelle Pandow thank you for the reply. I have an oder as we speak pending with you guys at spartan armor systems. I was just confused as to where 300fps difference had originated. Thank you again for the quick and professional response.
spartan armors ar550 plates are probably the best steel plates on the market from the research ive done. steelops and predator armor also have great plates. i bought the SA ar550 plates with full coating but id still like to get a frag bag just in case. will roll a few layers of gorilla tape around it all too to increase frag protection, the duct tape will help keep the frag coating tight to the plate and help prevent the sides from failing. with 3a soft kevlar and a scorpion tactical trauma pad my vest is very comfy and cushioned. yeah its heavy but im not planning on rucking far in it, its for home defense/static security in my town/neighborhood just in case.
may I ask If I wanted to stand the highest chance of surviving a bullet with the highest speed size energy etc what armor provides the most protection from your range and are you adding a stronger armor soon like double thickness 650 armaply
rikudou sennin Once you get to a certain round the resulting blunt force trama can crush your chest and collapse your lungs. They are designed as a last line of defence and should be treated as such. But I would recommend lvl 4 for best chance of stopping most rounds.
@@gregsall5872 yeah your right this is why ive always wanted to invent liquid body armor made of stuff like gallium and d40 since if i could somehow make the electromagnetics heat and cool the gallium correctly it would be nigh impenetrable with the right thickness and keep the impact from knocking you out
if only a full comfortable affordable daily wearable suit could stop 556 and 762 then you would have me intrested i as a martial artist i could stop knives batons bats and other misc items but cant stop a gun unless im at point blank range
Snd even then, can you stop the man with the gun before he decides to pull the trigger, blowing your teeth thru your skull? Or maybe his finger slips because he saw you make a sudden move (true story, friend got shot that way). Dont over estimate yourself bro go buy a gun lol
So ours is different! We have a proprietary coating called encapsaloc which we've developed. It's a little more elastic to contain the fragments as the ricochet of the plates. AR500 use to use Paxcon from Linex but we found it to be to hard. They have since change their coating but we haven't tested it since the change was just made recently and it take 16 to 20 weeks :-) Hope this answers your questions
I'm guessing you're talking about Level IIIA soft body armor which is only rated for handguns. We carry several other types of body armor that will easily stop M193.
I just ordered the 550 swimmers cut with the triple curve, full coat frag coating and trauma pads. I wonder what wrapping the plates with Gorilla tape would do?
I'm 6'0 220 lbs with a wide back. The armor system says it's universal but people are saying its ideal for someone around 5'5" in height. Will the Spartan Armor Systems Cyclone Light Weight Sentry Plate Carrier fit my body type or is their a better option?
Serious question, scared of being shot by a cop as so many are shooting unarmed people(not saying all are bad, but you cant deny this is happening) what would be best for me to wear in my car thats light enough for a thinner person (150 pounds) yet will provide protection from what police carry?
Bunch of thin blue line bootlickers in here. "Just comply", "you shouldn't have to worry if you have nothing to hide". making excuses for shitty cops that abuse their power. The same ones that can raid your home in the middle of the night and kill you while "just following orders".

00:34 I like how he had to explain what the acronym stood for so liberals cant go, "WE GOTTA BAN THIS HIGH CAPACITY ASSAULT RIFLE ARMOR"

Fantastic overview and comparison vid :D

Great video just started researching armor. Really like what I am seeing with your lvl 4. I will be buying from you all soon. Any specials going on? What about leg and arm armor ?
Great explanation.
Is it just me or is the site glitched and everytime I click on the ar550 it send me here before I can make a selection
Is your light weight Armor as protective as the hard steal
Discount for state security guards?
Thank you so very much 🤙🙏💙🇺🇸
There's a NIJ Level III+?? I thought that Level III+ are claimed and test by the manufacturer not NIJ. NIJ does IIA,II,IIIA,III,and IV

@@dr.dylansgame5583 done correctly you could make it self healing as well with gallium. Interesting idea.

So the coating you guys use, is it better than ar500 or similar? To me it definitely looks different

Will the 650 stop a 30-06?? Or should I buy a new plate rather safe than sorry
Yes it will stop the 30-06 but you will have a very sore chest when you wake up.
Why would you even make a flat plate
Still can't stop M193 or 55 grain .223, just like a bunch of other armor on the market.
I'm guessing you're talking about Level IIIA soft body armor which is only rated for handguns. We carry several other types of body armor that will easily stop M193.
No such thing as NIJ rating of level III+
I just ordered the 550 swimmers cut with the triple curve, full coat frag coating and trauma pads. I wonder what wrapping the plates with Gorilla tape would do?
Make it sticky when you have to take it off.

waywardson im 5'11 230 with pretty big lats and it fits fine. I could see it restricting motion if I were to do pull ups with it.
Why not to make big plates all what you say are small
Which one will stop a Draco or ak47
We'd suggest our AR550 level III+ body armor for those 7.62x39 rounds
Serious question, scared of being shot by a cop as so many are shooting unarmed people(not saying all are bad, but you cant deny this is happening) what would be best for me to wear in my car thats light enough for a thinner person (150 pounds) yet will provide protection from what police carry?
That Car Guy IIIA soft armor
this is about as suspicious as a comment can get with not intending to be suspicious
don’t purchase one please , you sound like the type of person who should be brutally beat by police
The best defense against police is compliance. I’ve never seen a man shot who had his hands up and knees on the ground.

Dont buy the 650 its to brittle it cracks to easy buy 550
