We've been getting a lot of questions about plate carrier set ups and different plate carrier loadouts for the K19 so we decided to make an installation video to help you get set up with your new plate carrier.
The K19 is the ultimate modern plate carrier. Designed, tested and battle-proven in Israel and behind enemy lines with some of the IDF's most elite units. The K19 has numerous subtle but revolutionary features that no other plate carrier has.
When it comes to the cummerbund, we've thought of everything. Many modern plate carriers now employ quick release mechanisms but they always come at the expense of not being able to adjust the fit easily.
The K19 employs our Egress™ Quick-release system and proprietary Fast-Adjust™ Cummerbund that can be adjusted and fine-tuned in real time, by the wearer.
Getting the perfect fit can depend on your specific mission loadout, what you're wearing underneath (which can change mid-mission), or even on how much you've eaten for lunch. We know that the ability to adjust it yourself, on the fly, is critical in order to avoid unnecessary fatigue and compromised combat awareness.
The K19 has a one-size-fits-all cummerbund and multi-size plate bag absolving the need to make complicated and risky sizing choices when buying. You know it will always fit you or members of your team regardless of your loadout or mission set. This is also important for procurement professionals who can be sure it will fit all their guys (or girls) well.
The fast-adjust cummerbund also has a built-in stretch element which allows the vest to be pulled in nice and tight so it doesn't bounce when you run, but that gives you that inch or so of stretch needed when dropping to a knee so the carrier doesn't squash their torso.
The latest version of the K19 is also placard-compatible, with both upper attachment points and a new laser-cut loop overlay.
This new layer gives you the best of all worlds. It allows you to either add velcro-backed placards instantly, or use the mil spec, bartacked molle underneath to attach regular molle pouches.
Unlike other carriers, the shoulder area quick-release buckles are set way back so they don't interfere with your rifle stock and yet are easily accessible.
Both left and right quick detach buckles are removeable so that you can replace them with minimalist slide buckles (included) for an even lower profile.
When it comes to comfort, The K19 shares many of the comfort features of the combat-proven Agilite K5, which is considered to be the most comfortable plate carrier on the market.
Such comfort features include generous fusion-foam shoulder padding for extreme comfort even during prolonged use. Anyone who's spent time in the Military knows that even the shortest of missions can turn into several day ops. Comfort is not a luxury, it's a necessity to stay alert and not distracted in hostile environments where complacency can cost you your life.
One of the secrets to the K19’s comfort level is that the shoulder straps create a proprietary "V" shape to center mass which spreads weight over maximum surface area and relieves pressure points.
The rear of the K19 plate bags have a triple layer of low profile fusion foam to remain comfortable even when using the K19 with hard steel or ceramic armor plates. Steel or ceramic plates often have hard corners and edges that can dig in to your torso when using regular plate carriers but the K19 has inherent padding to prevent this from happening.
The K19 is also Agilite K-Series compatible, meaning that it has ability to attach the AMAP III Assault pack directly to it in seconds. No threading MOLLE, no hassle.
In the rear, the cummerbund has numerous attachment points for the mil-spec G hooks, allowing a perfect fit for all, from the largest to smallest person, without making the plate carrier unnecessarily large or prohibitively small.
The K19 has gone from the front lines of Israeli Special Forces to being one of the top-selling plate carriers in the USA.
It has traveled many miles and has crossed borders into some of the most dangerous places in the world in order to bring you one of the most detailed and thought out plate carriers on earth.

Cheers for the super helpful instructions. I just ordered mine and I cannot wait. It looks so much more comfortable and easy to use than the super old plate carrier I use now. I had to take it almost entirely apart to set the width and that involved undoing the woven steel cables that goes through the entirety of the plate carrier. This looks like it can be set up in a pinch. Also absolutely love how you updated it with the lower profile attachment points so you can shoulder weapons better than with the quick detach mechanism.

@@johnfanning1044 can't wait because the old one is such a pain in the ass to get in and out off hahaha. Also barely any padding so after 8+ hours it really starts to feel heavy on the shoulders because the steel wire puts all the pressure on a pretty small spot

Just got my PC in and started to put it together. And, well, they make it look a lot easier than it is in this video. It took both me and my wife to get it fitted so an extra hand definitely helps. But now that it is fitted to me it feels like a glove. I have plates front and back side along with the six pack. Gotta say that this thing is awesome. The old vest that I am replacing is the old Point Blank wrap around soft Kevlar IIIa. Had to finally do an upgrade because my old one is a little past its prime. Now that I got the K19 I can't imagine using anything else. Absolutely love it and recommend anyone looking for a new PC to get this one. 5 star, A+++.

I got mine yesterday and holy sh*t what a difference with the one I have for work! The K19 V3.0 is so much lighter and easier to use! I set mine up in 2 min, mag pouches, and admin pouch included.
I'm old now, and good things are expensive, but if you're young, sacrifice yourself and buy the whole kit. Better to have it and not be forced to use it than to be forced to use it and not have it. 😉👍 That scorpion is the best!!!

I was skeptical in the beginning about installing plates from under the vest, but I can confirm that is really easy and the plate is secured in place, its not going anywhere no matter the weight. I use 2 level IV with it for some time now and they are safely secured in place.

Man this video makes it so much sexier than it really was. Fitting plates into mine was hell (the advertised 1.3" thick plates and large plates is horseshit) and ive got to make some custom straps just to get everything adjusted right without velcro exposed.
From what I've seen, the K19 seems to be more suited to me having long and quieter shifts as a sniper where fast movement in cities doesn't occur as often as when we move outside of residential areas in covert conditions to monitor, report and engage targets.

I've owned a black K19 for years but always wanted Wolf Grey. Once I saw the giveaway for the K19/AMAP III Wolf Grey and the hints of possible production I checked website everyday. Then a week or so ago it was available and I ordered both on the spot and received in just a few days....OUTFRIGGINSTANDING! That being said PLEASE tell me there are plans coming up soon for the Pincer Placard in Wolf Grey.

I just got the K19 3.0 and I like it when I run medium level 4 plates in it but I'm trying to throw smalls into it but it just doesn't feel right do y'all got a video or could you guys make one showing the difference?

This is one of the most modular designs I think I've ever seen. I have a few ideas on some attachments, but is the quality going to hold up in true battle conditions?
Can you attach the Hydration pack on top of or inside the AMP III backpack or no to both?

The K19 and AMAP III are very good, BUT...if I mount the AMAP on my PC and put a water bladder and MRE pack inside, the small weight is enough to pull down the back side of the PC when moving around, exposing too much of my upper back. In the contrast the front side of the PC is under my chin, literally. Not to mention when I put a helmet or something on to the AMAP. And I'm wearing level IV plates in my vest, front and back. Without the pack my PC sits well. Maybe do a video explaining what to do with the PC in order to have the it sit well on the body with filled AMAP III on the back. And it's not just me, seen some other people having similar issues. Heck, even in Agilite "closer look" promo video for the AMAP III.
What if you combine the back-pack and the water bag pack together on the vest? Something like holders on the back on the water-bag that will be between the best and the bag pack/in the back
The back pack has a interior slot for a bladder, where the zipper is. A regular 3 liter doesn't fit, to long, but the camel back 3 liter short and wide fits perfectly, found it on Amazon.
What if the hooks for the cummerbund on the back are broken? Can i set up new hooks?

Can tell you right now as I sit here trying to put my plates in the "accepts all 10" x 12" plates statement might be true but it is NOT as easy as they make it out to be. I have 10x12 paraclete IV and it's next to impossible to get it in.

The issue I see is taking the backpack off when u wearing the plate carrier by urself. I have a K19 and I want to be able to take that backpack off by myself should I need to without taking my rig off.

The clips are at mid rib. The only other mount is the mid mounted hook and loop panel on the bag.
Just rip it off with the pull handle over the or from the side after disengaging the clips.
Getting it back on the right way is possible too but takes a bit more practice. You have to go over head usually. Anyways, hope that helped.

Excellent carrier. Excellent clear video of set up. Except the agonizing slow velcro pulling scenes. Do you have a fetish!
