Skidaway State Park, Georgia

Our first trip to a Georgia State Park was a great trip to a great park - Skidaway State Park, just outside of Savannah. We really enjoyed the park and the hiking trails. These SC ultimate outsiders enjoyed GA, too!

Great park! We stayed at Savannah during winter break and took a day trip to Skidaway. Looks like we'll have to do the opposite next time. Nice campsites :) Thanks for sharing!

Thank you. We really enjoyed Skidaway. I received an e-mail that you commented on the video from Barnwell, but it's not showing in TH-cam studio for me to reply. I'd say that the Barnwell's pond is a touch bigger than Poinsett's, but not by much. If it's not too much of a challenge to carry the kayaks, I would. They were saying that the fishing in the lake was pretty good.

Looks like a beautiful place to stay! What was the name of that bug spray again? No Net Spray? Those sites do look huge. Fun that you got to stay on an island. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Now you are giving Georgia a try, you should try out Crooked River State Park and Fort McAllister. Both are amazing! Love following you guys.

We spent a few nights at Ft McAllister after we were at Skidaway. The video will be coming soon. We have booked Vogel for almost a week this summer and Tulullah Gorge for a long weekend in November. Thank you for following and we'll look into Crooked River.
