flight attendant since 2021 here! They hit the nail on the head! Flying is NOT the same as it was in the golden days, unruly passengers, safety issues, etc.
I love this one. It really brings back memories of flying and how much has changed in the airport and the plane. It really is a flying bus now. I would love to hear pilots about the differences they see now and then.
Love the voices and perspectives of these crew members. Thank you for sharing them! As an aside, I was 13 years old when we showed up at a JFK gate for our Pan Am flight to FRA via LHR. ZOMG when I saw a massive 747 sitting out on the tarmac waiting for us! Everything was too perfect. Been an AV Geek ever since~ (Well, maybe a few years before that, but...)
My 75 year old mom kept complaining people these days are sloppy, wearing t-shirt & shorts on a flight. She was from the era where people dress up just to send someone off at the airport 😅
My Sister was a " Stewardess " back in the 70's for Ward Air flying out of YVR she did have some Frightening Flights but most of all she Remembered the fun 🤗times she had with the passengers and her crew members one of her favorite memories was when the passengers were all boarded / seated (I think it was a DC-10) The Pilot Boarded the plane black glasses 😎 with a white cane followed by the co-pilot with a parachute on followed by the flight Navigator bottle in hand pretending to be DRUNK 🥴(it was quite the joke going around YVR for many years) Until transport Canada found out 🤔by then it was just NO NO NO don't do that again (YVR Vancouver British Columbia Canada)
It walays freaks me out when i see a flight attendant walk very fast down the isle as of something is about to go down 😮 mind you they just might do that so they dont get asked any questions on their way lol
carol said in the first video that she‘s been working in the cabin for some 40 years now, yet the captation says she only started in 97? Pan Am went bankrupt in 91 and there’s a picture of her together with a colleague and actor Ted Knight who deceased in 86. How does that fit?
I reviewed the captations of part one in the meantime. It seems to be correct there. It stated that carol has been working from 1977 onwards. But ironically Carlos‘ captation seems to be wrong there as it said 97-02, but it’s actually 97-22. So another typo there.
Man I didn’t know PanAm was essentially put on a “do not fly” list after Lockerbie :( I know the industry was going through lots of changes in terms of deregulation during the 80s and 90s.. that’s why I thought PanAm went under :/
lovely group of FAs - I have so much respect for all of them. is it a coincidence that just about every "disruptive passenger" report / video etc is from ... USA. USA now seems to be so selfish into personal "rights" and lacking respect for others.
Bravo excellent video, I had a friend that was Swedish and had a house in Marin with a pool and he always had many stewardess staying there and he was always inviting me over. Also from what I learned that no planes hit the trade centers they were just holograph images and no debris from the planes was ever found and there were part numbers on each part. The planes were flown to new Jersey and put in hangars and made into tankers. The towers were destroyed with satellite direct energy weapons were reduced to 80 micron dust.

@@jonathanburkley1138 flying should be exclusive.,period.
@@FernandoFlores-xi3mhAnd if they act up, permanently on the no fly list.
@@jonathanburkley1138 most airlines have become greyhound...
@@FernandoFlores-xi3mh that’s how they can make fares cheaper. Squeeze more in, take more amenities out.

Loved it - I hope you have part 3- the ladies are so wonderful to listen too
fascinating.
Is there another part of them inflating the airplane life vest?

Excellent! Please consider doing some videos like this with former pilots! ❤️🙏🏻✈️

Amazing group of FAs! Great recollections.
I always want to thank the flight attendants who take care of us and keep us safe. Thank you all.
Thank you for sharing our different careers in our industry. Me myself a former Purser Flight Attendant from 1999 to 2008.
I’m always so thankful for the men and women who take care of us in the air. ❤
My 75 year old mom kept complaining people these days are sloppy, wearing t-shirt & shorts on a flight. She was from the era where people dress up just to send someone off at the airport 😅
I always wear a collared shirt when I fly - and I’m stuck in economy!

I remember one of the mothers crying "My baby, my baby." It will haunt me forever.
Old flights for the experience but new flights for safety!
I loved this documentary! Fantastic!
Yeah I do too.... hello 👋
Typo, Carlos worked for United from 1997-2022, not 2002.
Yessss been waiting for this!!!

That was very interesting!!

I got a chance to ride in a jump seat Moscow-Sofia in the 80s. Pilots had a gun in the cockpit.
THE REAL ONE: 'WHY DID YOU REMOVE THE SCREENS OF THE BACK OF THE SEATS, THEY GET MORE ANGRY W/O THEM' amen
I bet they have a looooot of milage....😅😅😅
I was watching this with one of my co-workers and she asked why they didn’t interview fight attendants who were on the 9/11 planes…🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
