INFPs are fairly private introverts, and getting to know them is not easy, let alone identifying one! Here are a few things I would recommend looking out for, to spot an INFP!

Something I think people don’t get about INFPs is that we’re super good at reading people’s emotions. And I think that turns some people off. Because I think people get intimidated by us being able to see through the facade even if like, my intention is just to help them through it and forge that deep emotional connection from that.
I've yet to experience being intimidating to anyone, but yes, I use their emotion as guide to choose my response and word my jokes that could be taken in many directions.
I love all of my friends, and I feel a lot of them are quite smart enough to know their own flaws and mistakes, so I want to provide comfort and place for them to complain about life for a while. As for advice or opinions, unless they want my two cents in whatever they are dealing with, I'll try not to give too much of that _(:з」∠)

People get scared when you try to see under their mask. It frustrates me. I hurt so many less people when I’m always 100% honest, and let my mask fall off. I can use the silence to protect myself, I don’t have to pretend to be someone I’m not. I don’t think other people see that as an option, so they feel extra vulnerable when their mask is off. I hate that the world works that way, but it seems to be how most people are.
Yup! When I sense their emotions it helps me to identify how to act around them.

As an INFP… I feel seen .. understood.. and exposed… and I am not sure wether I am happy to be in awe of being understood.. or upset at how accurately exposed this has made me 😅
Seriously having my personality just open and out like this is kinda making me mad how accurate these things are. My own family doesn’t know me this well. For some reason I want to cry at the accuracy and forget I ever took a personality quiz , I feel like if I go further I’ll learn how I die.
Don't worry. Everyone even in the same type are different ☺️ Some things are really accurate for one but not so much for another person. I feel strange listening to these movies about Infp, I feel relieved that I know why or that I'm not so alone in this world, but the other hand it's sad too. So many thoughts 🤔

I know just how you feel. I know what the tests tell me, but I still feel like an amalgamation of several types around IN and EN. I only think that is probably from attempting to grow through the struggles of my personality and my life experience. These videos have been very enlightening and have given me new vigor in realizing what it means to be me.

Keep in mind though that the misery we go through can make us stronger and more helpful to those around us, and since we’re prone to handling our struggles internally, and self reflecting, it’s far easier for us to grow better from suffering than most people. If we can become stronger, more capable people, then learn how to express our emotions through music, art, writing, etc to show people what we’re feeling, we’ll find people who understand us. It’s not easy, but if you want those around you to understand you even half of how much I want to be understood, then it’s definitely worth the time and effort.

Yes they can be logical if they are "shadow" focused in their ISTP mind.
This sounds awfully familiar...
It's especially the moments in which we have to make a decision that we perceive as necessary from a rational point of view, but then our heat decides to interfere for whatever reason. The problem is, until this battle has been fought, any decision making regarding this issue is essentially put on hold.

I joke/tease around with my friends. But with people i am not close with, i am very formal and look too serious.
Yup, that's why sometimes my best friend will tell me to act more friendly to other people but when I did she told me that I look so fake while doing it 😭 I just really want to be formal to others 😩

But it seems that most material is regards to the T type.
it's really hard for me to make friends as an infp, I've spent most of my school life alone. So I look for people to talk to online and I sure do fit in there without even trying.
Spot on besides the reading and writing part. I’m more visual than a reader. I can’t put all these thoughts into words… some of these thoughts go beyond our vocabulary at times. It’s weird.
To my friends I am that "cryptic friend", I do like to leave messages and quotes on my story especially when I feel a deep emotion.
How I act around with my friends and crowds is so accurate though.

I love how everyone thinks this video is funny. First of all, im a libra and an infp. Some of these points are true, but not all. I dont know how they gather their information, but whatever works. Its not 100, but its somewhat accurate. There are a lot of similarities between several of the personality types, so sometimes its hard to discern.

I find myself a lot in both Infp and Infj. I did the test 4 times in 2 years and the result remains the same : Infp. I don’t know, can I be an INFP-J like 😭😭😭 anyone else relate or is it just me ?
