Ummm, expected a more in-depth analysis.. Had Trevor from the beginning of my BTC journey (21). and set up my three older kids with their own Trevor. Marks advice to expand my backup companies sounds…damm good!! Had to restore my youngest son’s Trezor to another wallet and factory reset his Trevor. Worked out fine but w hesitation as to the why and other fear factors. Thx for the kick in my ass to consider!!

If you self custody, how do you get it back into the 'system'' to convert it to fiat money? Once you find a company to do this, will that company then charge you a fee to get your bitcoin back into the 'system'? What happens if Trezor goes bankrupt...will there still be a way to get your Bitcoin off the device?
Your crypto isn’t actually on the device. Just your keys to your wallet. You can send and receive using wallet addresses.
You can recover your btc w your seed phrase in many many different wallets not just trezor.
So far 1 Oz. gold coins still sound better to me. Maybe silver also.
Get both precious metals and Bitcoin. It wouldn't hurt you.
