The banks can't be making money off my money, while inflation eats into it. I've realised that most people, as long as they can have a reasonable life, they're not that motivated about how money works. Wealthy, successful people tend to be really turned on by making money. So, some people are turned on by the horses. But they tend to loose. If you get into investing/trading, you have a higher chance of getting the dosh, but also the high of the betting if that's your thing. So, this is my hypothesis that many people who could be well-off that are just living month to month, odd holiday, odd new car etc.
