- Thrall Meets Jaina Cinematic. All Baine Cutscenes. In 8.2, Baine is to be executed by Sylvanas Windrunner for returning Derek Proudmoore to Jaina. Jaina teams up with Thrall (after many years) & Saurfang (and Shaw) to save Baine, and later rebuild old bonds.

Hiya Folks. Oh boy is this a big one! Skip to 2:44 for the new cinematic itself.
For the rest, I’ve compiled all of the “Baine’s Execution Scenario” related cutscenes together along with the Derek Proudmoore prologue as a catchup.
I left the quest dialogue out to make it under 10 min and save you time. But I can edit the questline over again and input horde & alliance viewpoints/dialogues at a later time if you’d like.

My heart stopped when Thrall admitted that he caused all the world's problems. He could had helped Garrosh more, but he couldn't control the return of the Burning Legion, Gul'dan, Sylvanas, Azshara, and all these bad guys. When Jaina mentioned the Horde and Alliance being stronger together, I kind of chuckled since we all predicted since the beginning of this xpac they will both work together. Then I stopped when Thrall said that this is all bullshit. Made me feel nice that, finally, a character in this universe who really understands his or her world functions. I enjoyed this cinematic.
Obviously he's not responsible for all the world's problems like the persistence of the Scourge, The Burning Legion, the Old gods, Void Lords and so on, but he's made a lot of serious mistakes that have led to a great deal of death and destruction.
Bryansk Scion it’s a game so there will always be a world ending threat because there needs to be, but let’s just take the lore for what it is and pretend it’s a real world just for the sake of the argument.
Tldr- Thrall leaving horde sets in motion all the crises and disasters of the next decade and destabilized the whole world
Let’s be honest Thrall wasn’t just the best Warcheif of the horde, he essentially created the horde as we know it. Under him the horde was well on its way to becoming a power that could co-exist with the alliance. Values of self control and wisdom were appreciated, the orcs were under control and actively working to root out their radical elements, the other members of the horde were working in perfect harmony and each nation was prospering and growing. After Thrall left though the horde went completely off the rails and ruined its credibility and reputation for all time. If Thrall didn’t leave, Garrosh would not have started full faction war. Cairns would be alive. Theramore would still be standing. Not only that but a siege of orgrimmar would never have happened, and if that never happened Garrosh would never have gone to the past. If Garrosh never goes to past and no Iron horde invasion, then there is no alternate Gul’dan. No alternate Gul’dan and no Burning legion invasion. No burning legion invasion and no Sylvanas. So ya, Thrall leaving the horde essentially was the event that set off the chain of crisis and disasters that has devastated Azeroth for the the past almost decade now. Seriously, Deathwing would have been the last big crisis that Azeroth faces until now if Thrall had just done what he said he would and retaken his place as warcheif as soon as the elements and death wing were taken care of. But no, he fucked off with his baby momma forsaking all his responsibilities and his people. Their blood is on his hands.

Honestly I feel like after Cataclysm all Thrall has felt was that he was wrong. Thing is he tried to escape the feeling with Aggra, but he knows the Horde will need him forever.
I think this is the entire thing Blizzard was going for. A kind of redemption story.

Well from what I've heard, Blizzard is having new Employees hired and they're changing WoW based on philosophical terms writing. By which I mean change WoW something better.
As usual, the quality of the cinematics are phenomenal!
I don't mind the look of the old world but the trees. Those darn....cardboard trees...they hurt my eyes. Trees desperately need a facelift.
I dunno. They look kinda bad to me. Sure... maybe pretty graphics wise, bit it looks more like they fitted together shitty clips. Dialog doesn't match there mouth, every thing looked like they played the standard random animations. Half baked, rushed cinematics. They did a lot better in previous expansions. This was pretty poor.

Saurfang went from a respected warrior who valued honor to a self-serving traitor who also joined with the Alliance to betray his own people and allies.
Baine, well he was never leadership material, but not even he stooped as low as he has before BfA.
I do not play wow anymore, but the sadness in Baine's voice makes me tear up, his voice actor is amazing. I can feel his emotion in knowing what the horde has become. and his love for the earth mother.
Dwayne baine makes me want to resub and play tauren... but then the video ends and I realise the cinematics are better than the game at this point

Warcraft is a franchise whose characters are entirely iconic based upon their unique appearance and voice. It's kinda difficult to turn it into a live action, and try to match other actors to the character they'd be assigned to. In this case, they could go the animation route or try a full length feature with their high quality cinematics like they do with Saurfang & Thrall, etc.

bravo blizzard, that was on epic level of epic. I cried almost the whole way, the music, thrall admitting everything, showing a bit of fair skepticism answered by the best come back that no one was thinking of. Then saurfang makes a reference to the trailer Lost Honor. Truly well thought out and great great development.

It actually would be kind of interesting if Thrall and Jaina did have a relationship. Only could happen if his family was killed, and he mourns for them. Jaina and Thrall could actually open up to each other, and while technically at war, they actually develop feelings for each other. If they did marry, that actually would forge peace between the alliance and horde. Sort of like how royalty from different countries would marry to form alliances. It would also open up the ideas of new factions showing up. Plus I know a lot of them wanted to be together. You hardly see Thrall's family, so it's like they never existed. xD May as well let Thrall and Jaina get together.

Good to see horde AND the alliance here working together with honor.
The dilemma remains, there is no drama without conflict and so there must always be war in warcraft. A happy ending is just that and nothing much to tell. It was stunning to hear Varok relay that he will stand with Anduin. I am so proud of our young king. I fear for Thunder Bluff. All those tents can be rebuilt but Sylvanas could blight the land. I hope the Tauren will refugee elsewhere just until she roasts in hell. Would the great kodo thrive in Elwynn Forest, or better still Nagrand? Lots of grazing in Elwynn but probably too many trees.

Gnome's make machines that translate and undead's gutter speak is just slang that derived from human's talk. only commoners who doesn't have these things or know better can't understand.

It would be kind of cool if the reformat of warcraft became Horde and Alliance side by side together.
But then you have bandits/assassins from either factions that works to kill players who aren't aligned with them.
So can choose which side will be. Will still follow the format one side vs another but introduce it to a new format. So if went assassin you can only talk to other assassins.

It's the Warcraft 3 art of Tyrande but I completed the face (it was like half in the original) and gave her dark/silvery eyes. i used it in my Night Warrior video way back in 8.1. I guess you can try taking a screenshot of it I guess? I haven't put it up anywhere yet.

Well, I think it's pretty clear that sylvanas isnt the big bad of the expansion. But sylvanas sure does look like a garrosh 2.0, but I assume that will be resolved seperately.
@@pierrealexander8183 Agreed, a normal sensible writer would try to resolve that. At the minimum, to avoid sounding like the company blatantly lied to their audience.
However, it seems like its all too easy to over estimate Blizzard these days.
Well Garrosh still cared about honor and was a smart military tactician. (That is until Panda where he started sending troops into battle with the odds stacked against them.) He regretted killing Cairne and acknowledged the Tauran as being a strong and honorable race. Bombing Theramore was a smart move from a strategic point of view, although he should have let the innocents escape. (They built him up as someone who wouldn't harm innocents in cata but threw that all away at the end of the expac.) He cared about the Horde and it's survival, and would have never agreed to raising the corpses of those who died honorably in battle on both factions. Garrosh also forbid the use and production of the plague. If the other leaders had listened to Thrall and tried to advise Garrosh instead of complaining about Thrall leaving, he might have made a good leader. The bronze dragons even said we got the worst and least likely outcome for Garrosh.
Sylvanas on the other hand doesn't care about honor, and only seeks death and destruction. She'll raise whoever she wants, and kill them the moment they aren't useful anymore. She burned Teldrasil even though there is no ways to justify such an action. Occupying it can be justified since it could, however unlikely, help force the alliance into a surrender. Burning it will just turn the world against her for killing thousands of innocents, burning a world tree, and going against what her original orders and plans were. She'll use the plague and destroy her own city to kill a couple Allaince, and openly threaten the other leaders of the Horde. She seems more like the Lich King. She even stole his line of "In the end, all shall serve me."
@@dragoliched1977 You are kind of right. Sylvanis burned Teldrasil because Saurfang let Malfurion go. She went there to kill him, burning Teldrassil was a fallback plan improvised on the fly.

The Scourge, the Burning Legion (twice), Grom and the Fel orcs, the Lich King, Garrosh and Pandaria, Theramore, Admiral Proudmore, Cataclysm, Sylvanas and many more tribulations...
The characters we see are tired and exhausted. They don't want to fight anymore. They just want to live their lives.
Jaina and Thrall know that their frindship is important, specially now when old scars are opening between the factions.

The regent lord wasn't to happy when sylvanas carted baine off to be executed, he recognizes the rash and ruthless abandon of her actions, yet because the forsaken are basically neighbours with the blood elves he cannot act against her, else there may be a sunwell assault 2.0, last time that didn't go so well...
I expect that he will do nothing until an opportune moment presents itself, for example if sylvanas was to summon the horde leaders to a council and then thrall, saurfang and baine show up, knock out everyone and attack sylvanas, he could attack her from the side when it looks as if she is no longer in control of the situation.
Until Quel'Thalas and Silvermoon are not in danger of reprisal, he will not act.
