Just out of curiosity making sure I’m reading this right. this made more power then your n80 with all of your mods and this is bone stock? Obviously yous was on 33s and this is stock tires. But your has +30s and turbo back. Just deciding between the 2 cars.
Dmax tuned on stock tyres 160kw/468nm Dmax on 35’s 144kw/426nm Hilux with mods on 33” 157kw/566nm That old saying Torque ain’t cheap Ha ha But seriously can’t really compare the two when they are different engines. The new 4JJ3 is really impressive but the auto’s aren’t nice to drive and we can’t tune them yet. The N80 gen 3 is so much better than the gen 2 and the ability to tune auto is a game changer. Also lane assist on Dmax/BT50 isn’t nice to drive compared to Hilux. If you are local come and take mine for a spin.
@@procheckautomotivemechanic4551 sorry live in in fnq but would love to. Think I’m going to go with the n80 as I was leaning more towards it and everything u just said. Yeah definitely not a fan of the lane change. Judging that you’ve been in both what’s the interior difference like. Thanks anyway for the quick reply and if I get one will be sure to come to u if I feel like driving 20 hrs 😂
Love the bluebird in the background!!
Do we need to change gear ratio after putting 35 inch tyres on stock engine?
Don’t need to but will help performance
Or just come in for a tune 😎
Nice, how do u go for factory warranty when u do a tune like this?
Never had an issue and we keep stock tune on file so can always swap back

The Dmax/BT50 feels bigger inside but I wouldn’t say any better. I would still choose N80 over both of them.
@@procheckautomotivemechanic4551any updates regarding the autos being able to be tuned?
Just bought a bt50 & I’m not impressed with the auto.
Do you to rim the finders to fit the 35s .
I think a tune and 4.3 diffs from the older gen d max ( swap ) . Will do wonders
did you have to do Lift the truck to fit that 35s on there?
Will need lift to fit 35s
@@procheckautomotivemechanic4551 how you lift it?
With a suspension lift kit as seen in video
@@procheckautomotivemechanic4551 sorry, I didn't saw the video, now I am huge fan of the page!
Hi, how do I get you to tune my Dmax when I'm in Saudi Arabia?
