- Swiss Made Rolex GMT Master II Homage - Mathey Tissot Vintage Rolly - Budget Alternative. Some people love cars, others go crazy over Funko pops, and some like myself are watch obsessed. However, there is always more to the story and this is the case for me. Watches are more than for telling time or used for status, watches are memorable items that commemorate some of our greatest achievements so that we can remember that moment whenever we look down at our wrists. Here I get a little more personal to share my story on how I was introduced to watches and what they mean. Everything after this is now a crazy hobby and addiction we can claim for the watch community.
In this episode I present just one of many Rolex GMT MASTER II alternatives/homages that is attainable. In this mini series I will continue to share budget friendly but great looking watches that you can enjoy and wear everyday.

Just bought one. Where else can you get a Sellita for this money? I thought they goofed up a batch and forgot to put the GMT hand on....I don't want a GMT hand so this was a great fit.
So many watches cost just as much with cheaper movements.
The way to use this as a GMT is to turn the bezel and divide the number shown on the bezel in half for example I have this watch second time zone to 7 hours ahead therefore the 14 is at the 12 o clock position half of 14 is 7 etc.

You should've bought the gmt with the jubilee bracelet and put on that strap. That bezel doesn't make sense.
And what's any of this got to do with the brand "Tissot"?
It’s not related, Mathey Tissot is separate name/company
the bezel it's the gmt learn to use it , if it was a true gmt movement than you have 3 zones . it's a primitive gmt but it's a gmt the 1 made glycine airman first in the 50's
Without a gmt hand to move along a 24hr timeframe would be interested to know if you know how to use it. I’ve been wondering why they went with this and so far looks like it’s just for the colors lol but let me know would be neat to know if it actually works
It's not GMT without a GMT hand, and declasse to use a GMT style bezel insert on a diver.

I don't care for the crass things like "Vintage" being on the dial, it just says it's a spoiled attempt at that look, it's so ditzy, and I don't like the Logo and the artwork.
Lol totally agree, it’s not bad if someone really wants this look with an automatic at this price, but it’s not the best by far. This company struggles with their designs. 🤷🏽♂️

I agree lol they did everything else to make the watch look like a great homage then didn’t take the extra step. I still have the watch because it was a family gift but I ended up finding a great homage through Seiko Modding route, check it out th-cam.com/video/Mkrv6Ih39iw/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
Lugs aren’t as thin and no bidirectional bezel but everything else made me happy with get movement.
